Wasn't the old Wood Paintstation from GW roughly £25? If we want to be reasonable, I'd assume the slanted display stand would be ball park £40, and the wall mounted would be £30-35 (slightly less wood). I think you're right about the GW one. I'd be hoping to be selling for around the prices you've mentioned.

I appreciate any promotion you can give this. There is already a SM double battle company version designed. I also have a facebook page for it here - www.facebook.com/wathwargames

Good news guys! I have been on the phone to the laser cutting company and I can happily announce I will be able to retail these at £35. On top of that they have also confirmed they are able to produce them in acrylic.

I've been thinking guys and I'd like to give the stand some extra support and fixings but it would put the cost up by £5 so £40. Would people accept this or would you prefer to keep it a it is?

Woooohhh have you actually tested it and had one cut yet and assembled?... how are they assembled? Do we have to glue them together... can it sustain the weight?... wheres the rigidity come from... mdf does flex... your gonna have saggy shelves if you dont have a third peice in the center...

3rd piece was added to the center. I have one in my kitchen built up, looks a bit like this - I am still waiting on parts to allow you to fasten it together without gluing it.

Final parts arrived so I was able to get the bare frame put together. Oh and a Cavalry shelf. I'm also going to be adding the option to buy individual components via the kickstarter so that people can customise their display.

Can I ask why you think that?

Well surly youd want to guage how many perspective sales you have, double it, times that by the cost per unit and thats what youd aim to get... then you can ship out the kickstarter rewards and use the other half as initial stock... you dont want shed loads of stock incase no one wants to buy the stuff, thats wasted money and storage space...
You may say more units=less cost but its not a big difference when your looking at under 100 units per order (for example).

To produce these for a viable cost I need to order a minimum of 30, the price I was asking was the retail price for 30 units.
