Hello First post & first ever story! Be kind! I haven't written a "story" since school, I am now 29. So its been a while. The story can be found on my blog cadianshock.com/the-grimoire-of-true-names-entry-176-kysan/
Its an intro piece to start a short campaign of perhaps three games. Its purposefully wishy washy at present so I can easily lead into the next part depending on the out come of the first game. Looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions! CS.

I enjoyed it as far as prologues go. Though I'm wondering if/why the Departmento Munitorum would use its resources to try and retake a Daemon world that holds no strategic value. Why not just exterminatus it instead?

I think it's good that Kysan has some misconceptions about how things work, since the average Imperial citizen exists in a clueless haze of propaganda and superstition. I might have made him a bit more xenophobic though!

Thanks for even reading it Casiarius & Leoszite, let alone commenting. Good point about the Departmento Munitorum not destroying the whole planet and wiping it from existence. Perhaps there is a reason that Man still dwells there........ Perhaps Kysan is not xenophobic because of the propaganda? It won't matter now, all the superstition in the Imperium can't save him now! Poor bloke. I've just updated the post with the piece of terrain (a sort of tomb) that will house the Grimoire of True Names in our next battle. I guess that'll be the primary objective! cadianshock.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/1-IMG_3640.jpgThanks again!
