I have a game coming up where I will be facing a reaver and warhound titan. And three imperial knights. The rest of his army is mechanicum.
I have a baneblade, hellhammer and a shadowsword plus two knights. And will be taking an armoured company.
Any ideas on how to set up and what the best way of using my super heavies will be?

I'd use the big blast markers to eliminate as much of his infantry and tanks as possible,
Lascannons and melta guns are better than D weapons for taking down titans.. deep strike some melta storm troops and take his titans down with them.
Use your super heavies as soaks - they'll put a lot of attention on the shadowsword so keep it away from what you want to live.

I was going to suggest a Vanquisher tank company, but it seems that Tread has beaten me to the super-AT gun spam thing.

I'm taking 2 vanquishers. I'm going for as much str 8+ as possible and low ap. Would putting the shadowsword in reserve be a good idea?

I think you should use the shadowsword as a distraction, big up its 'D' weapon and 'titan hunter' status and make them scared of it.
They'll then shoot a lot of stuff at it which could be doing a lot of harm elsewhere. The shadowsword can take a lot of punishment and if it is a long way from the rest of your units they will be saved by its sacrifice.
Remember D weapons don't ignore cover any more, so placing it behind something will help a lot.

He has already told me that he will target my shadowsword first anyway so im sure he works as a distraction haha

Vendettas and the Stormwing formation or other SM flyers, he has NO AA!!
Just fly around and shoot him with impunity!

I recommend ONLY guardsmen with lasguns... about 3,000 of them the TRUE imperial guard way. (Block the titans exhausts with the guts of your allies)

Don't have that many plus I want to kill it not remove its paint however blocking all ports may just work

This reminds me of the time in 4th edition when I killed a Warhound titan with two special weapon squads, each equipped with three meltaguns and meltabombs for everyone. Fun times.

I might have to try that. I have a few melts to physically and metaphorically throw at him

yup... that is exactly what superheavies die to: melta vets.
getting them there is tricky, but often the super heavy player only thinks about long range firepower, not a couple of valk riding, grav chute deploying, melta wielding veteran squads with a deathwish...

Well if they are grab chuting they most certainly have a death wish.

Either decide to kill it or not... Use standard missiles or anti tank to take down the shields all you need Is a glance, then move into meltas and d weapons and lascannons. If your going to kill it do it one turn ... No sense in leaving it Alive for an extra turn in shooting Fmj

I have increased my chances if i face him. Game was cancelled as my car broke down, i now have a warhound and more melta scions to throw at him

spending more on models than on maintenance!
i admit to similar failings!
normally it would have been better to spend on the vehicle as cost of repairs ends up more.. but plastic crack is so addictive!
and resin flavoured crack is the best!
