I doubt it. What you might find are similar-ish military helicopter model kits, or even toys, that can be rearmed with spare bitz from your leftover vehicle parts.

You should checkout the Warhammer Proxies Facebook group. There are some pretty awesome conversions of toys and outright scratch builds there...

Not been to that site yet but I think I'd prefer to just make my own version of a vulture from a Valkyrie. A knock off Forgeworlld Vulture will be about £30. We can get a Valk for that money. I'm happy with my kit bashing attempts so I think I'll just do that when I have the time.
Still wonder why one has not been cloned by the dubious economies yet, I thought it'd be quite the demand item.

Yeah building a Vulture from a Valkyrie shouldn't be too difficult. All you need is the big turbo fan part and a suitably large exhaust nozzle, and the rest can be adapted from the Valkyrie and plastic card.

I might not even bother with going that far. I reckon I'll just reduce the profile of the cabin. I've plenty of projects to finish first so It'll be a while yet.

I've ended buying a Tau Barracuda. Because it's a beautiful looking model, I've liked it from the first time I saw it and it beats me why GW made the Sunnuts bomber when there was the barracuda waiting to be forged as a plastic model.
It arrived the other day and I have assembled it. All I can say is ...
yes

So; you bought something even more expensive than the Vulture, to make a Vulture?
Pictures, please!

Ah-ha, I can see how you may have come to that conclusion. And if it were the case it would be true testament to my genuine idiocy.
However no ... not the case.
I bought a knock off Tau Barracuda to be a ...
Tau Barracuda.
No pictures as yet but if you want my opinion on its quality I refer you to my previous statement.
Yes.

So is this the start of a new army or are you counting your stormtrooper horde as fire warriors (which is feasible, you know...)?

New part of an old Tau army which once belonged to one of my sons. Stormtrooper horde will remain just that.
I was considering using a load of Kroot as penal legion. But that idea has been blow out since the new codex.
But back to the barracuda. Always liked it but never willing to pay £80 odd for one. £33 however is reasonable. Still beats me why GW made the "Sunclart Bumber" when the gorgeos barracuda was there already.

For the same reason they made a Wyvern when there were already Medusas and Griffons in the old guard codex and on the FW site. It's cool that you commandeer these things. My stepson bought me a new Librarian and Stalker tank for my last birthday - still have to finish painting them; but they're in a long queue.

Odd isn't it? We start 40K because of our sons ... then inherit their stuff and the legacy of their stuff when they lose interest

There's a song for the Riptide too, but I'm not linking it.
Actually I started collecting from a young age, even if I wasn't playing much except the odd game of BloodBowl or Fantasy 3rd/ 4th edition. The only game of 40k I had with a school friend ended with him quitting the game because the close combat rules were too complex (2nd ed I think) and because my Mordian guard were whooping his Eldar quite badly.

Someone asked for pictures. Here they are. Now they may look like Forgeworld products but if you you look carefully ... they're actually nothing like anything Forgeworld have ever produced. They are, in fact, totally different from the very expensive Tau models that Forgeworld produce. You can tell that they're not Forgeworlld for the following reasons. No mass amount of Flash or lumpy sprue blocks. No warping or non-fitting parts. Absolutely nothing like Forgeworld at all. So think carefully before you buy guys !!! I extended the cockpit with green stuff to make the cockpit escape pod easier to remove. Then you could take the escape pod out, open it up and look at the cockpit interior detail. As you can tell I've not finished the painting yet and I've a really optimistic camouflage design in mind. I just need to find someone good enough and kind enough to do it for me. All three models cost me less £135 ($202) and were free shipping.

Postie delivered a big box the other day. With four items within ... direct from China. Two of those items have these pilots. I'm scared to paint them in case I make a botch job of it. I'll hope to paint them like RAF pilots. That means black boots and white gloves. When I find the courage to try.

There was something I meant to say about the two resin aircraft I got from China that bear NO RSEMBLANCE AT ALL to the Forgeworld Thunderbolt. This is a pic of the parts I got The producers seem to think their model only needs ONE of these. Actually you need two. I only got one with each model. I did a bit of research and a few of sellers only provide one of these landing skids. Not a problem if you want to build it "undercart up". But if you want it down then you'd better figure out how to get a second skid. Or model it with wheels?
