I'm wanting to collect Steel Legion models for my Daemonhunters. I could though use cadian models and get 10 more for the same price. Heavy weapons would be cheaper by about 10$ too. Should I spend the xtra money for the Steel legion models or go with cadian forces. Steel legions look so badd though!!

It depends on how many you want. If your after just one or two squads then get the Steel legion figs but any more and it's going to get very expensive.
Another advantage with the Cadians (as well as the cost) is that with them being plastic they'll be easier to convert and you won't get loads of figures looking the same.

steel legion is like a collectors/conneseurs army. cadians are everywhere and are dime a dozen (though they look really great in my opinion).

Money and the hobby is an endless question!!! You can go on with plastic cadians and convert them!! You can have them be like more or less (depending conversion!!) be like steel legion troopers. Reshape helmets, model respirators and so on.... Hope that can help!!

though most greenstuff jobs tend to make models look more like a lump of ooze than a finely sculpted model unless the modeller knows some tricks and has developed some skill
