As it says...
Are you finding that the missions too often are impossible?
for example; kill an enemy flyer when the enemy has no flyers?
Does the randomness make the games more fun by making things interesting and unpredictable or does it detract from tactical battle play due to the sudden shifts of focus.
thoughts, comments, ideas.. all welcomed

At our local game club -- we have agreed to 'discard' any objectives that cannot be attained. i.e. Kill enemy flyer when he doesn't have one.

40K is a fairly random game to start with, so I don't think that the random objective cards really ruin its tactical brilliance. They certainly can decide the winner, but at least every game is different and dynamic. I personally like them, though it is possible to get stuck with useless ones that shut a player out of the system, so I've seen a variety of different systems for allowing some limited discards.
