So you armed your vets with krak and they assault a vehicle or fight a monstrous creature how many of them get to use the s6 to wound ? How many throw them before starting to fight how many duting the fight ?

to my understanding one can throw a FRAG gernade when assualting of instead of snap firing, ( correct me if im worng) and during the assualt if every model has a krak gernade , each can make a strength 6 attack vs a vehicle ( ws 1) hitting on 3's most likely, and each can make one attack vs a monsterous creature but are hitting on 6's... thats what i remember, i apologize if im wrong ive been in training for a while now ( finally done though! phew ) and havent played in a while. How many throw them before starting to fight how many duting the fight ? No; them throwing the grenades in assault counts as them fighting. In all circumstances a model with grenades (or melta bombs) only ever gets to make one attack regardless of profile, equipment or charging bonus or special rules etc. So if you charged with 10 veterans you get 10 krak grenade attacks but then you're done; no more fighting after that for them. Also you can only use krak in assault vs monstrous creatures, vehicles and emplacements, not anything else. For SHOOTING only one model gets to throw a grenade from every unit armed with them, if within 8", so when you edge close/ if your opponent fails a charge and ends up really close you can throw a single grenade at them before charging them as well.

Meanwhile, Marbo tossed a det pack that scattered back into his face.
I don't know if he still does that.

Meanwhile, Marbo tossed a det pack that scattered back into his face. I don't know if he still does that. He did last time I used him... But that was back in Fifth Edition.

What's that, like...two or three editions ago? In almost and many years? Pretty much. I never even got a game in during Sixth... Oh, and remember kiddos: When using any kind of krak warhead, before rolling your dice you must exclaim at your opponent, "'CHU WAN' SUM' KRAK!?!?!?!?" There is a long story as to why this is so. Maybe I tell you sometime, but for now... JUST DOOOOOO EEEEEEEEET!!!

Meanwhile, Marbo tossed a det pack that scattered back into his face. I don't know if he still does that. He would do if he was still in an legal codex. As it is the new Astra Militarum codex only really has either any normal veteran squad can be upgraded to demolitions expert, one veteran gets a demo charge, or the trusty old special weapon squad with three demo charges, or even two meltaguns and a demo charge. But yeah, you're throwing a strength 8 blast marker about 8" and it scatters :s Still with guard its not too expensive to get a few chimeras or ugly-bus-mobiles and a few throw-away msu squads to just drive at the enemy and throw bouncy rubber ball explosives at them.

Yes. In fact the cost listed for Demolition charges in the special equipment list is specifically for special weapons squads only. They cost the sames as 2 x meltagun each and only 3/ 6 guardsmen in the squad get them.
