Even better charge them in combat so they can't use their psychic powers. I've never fought a Zoanthrope before. Even if they have a good invulnerable save you should be able to get them in CC. If you're playing 40000 points he might have lots and lots and lots of them so it might be an idea to get loads of Krieg cavalry riders and other solid cc units, like hammernators in normal land raiders and have them scattered around, ready to react to any threat.

If you can get more death riders do it. A mass cavalry charge on tyranid warriors would be a sight worth witnessing.
For your 'Fist list the centurions should be listed thusly:
3 Devastator centurions - sgt; omniscope - grav cannon & grav amp x3 - 290
You could get a third box and divide the last ones up to make bigger squads of 4 and 5. Bigger squads might be better in the apoc game.

i decided not to go with the centurions, i just cant make myself like the model so im going to run the sternguard with grav guns or a company command squad with spammed grav guns or both lol ... im also looking into getting more thunder hammers and i ordered a couple contemptor dreadnuaghts. i kanked the order on the fire raptor and the storm eagle for now... ordered a maruader bomber instead.. as for the Cavalry i just might order some more... make a really big wavy custom flag for the command squad to haha ... im thinking of either adding a ton of vallhallan/ vostroyan ( winter city fight themed ) or sticking with the catachan ( gears of war) and a group of elysian drop troops ... thats already in discussion in another section of IGMB FMJ

With sternguard vets you can give the whole squad combi gravs so for one shooting phase keep them still and shoot 3 shots each at 18" at his big bugs. I recommend vanguard with jump packs and grav pistols, cc. They'll be fragile but those grav pistols will make a mess.
An extra guard army as well?

OH new question, wis there anything in the inquisition, space marine, dark angel, grey knight etc... that will screw with his deep striking and infiltrators, drop pods... he plans on spamming drop pods to increase synapse and get cover saves he going to run like 20 and thos models are big! how well do force weapons fare against nids?? and big bugs??

You wanna know how to kill a big bug? Well I'll tell ya how to kill a big bug. First you take the biggest blob squad you have. Second you take your good old commissar yarrick. They you assault the thing and squish it beneath your boots. That's how you kill a big bug..... That tactic took my 30 man blob and yarrick against a stonecrusher carnafex and then a three man squad of carnefexs after everything was done my blod squad stood at 12 men and commissar yarrick

Outflanking sentinels and deep strike small groups of storm troopers. If he shoots he will kill or eliminate most of the unit and if/when he charges he will finish it off, leaving you to bring all of your firepower down on them. missile launchers on the sentinels so you can us the good AP of krak missiles on big bugs and flak for the big squishy blobs. Stormies with their low AP weapons and special weapons in small squads are always good.

There is always the option of Sisters of Battle, who can run infinite Melta. Dominion Squads can have 4 melta guns and a combi-melta for their Sister Superior, their act of faith gives them ignores cover, they scout, and they can sit in Immolators that let them reroll their act(with the right war gear) and has a Multi-Melta itself. The priests that the sisters get are identical to the ones that the guard get, with the exception that they can take wargear that lets them auto-pass their war-hymns check.
Since you're already taking Space Marines, any assault vehicle turns the Repentia from an embarrassing footnote, to a glorious glass cannon murder squad full of eviscerators. Up to 9 Repentia, each with 4 attacks on the charge should kill pretty much anything, once they actually get into combat.

FMJ A friend of mine did magnetize the combi weapons in his new BA tactical squad. He is VERY precise and it was done with the tiniest magnets we could acquire. I do not exaggerate when I say that there is NO room for error here. Absolutely Zero. We used did not use generic earth tone magnets (or what ever they are called) later his girl friend bought him those generic brands for a much better deal and we found that the magnets were not exactly the size advertised. Needless to say I was glad I spent the extra cash on more precisely measuring product. As often in life, you get what you pay for.
