fast-times.eldacur.com/StarGen/RunStarGen.htmlDescribes a whole lot of variables, and in particular denotes things like gravity, temperature and atmosphere. You could generate a pretty interesting world for your Guard regiment to be from: fast-times.eldacur.com/cgi-bin/StarGen.pl?Catalog=d&Dole=7&SolStation=7&Mass=0.82&Output=all&Seed=63&Count=1&Incr=1&Gas=on&Moon=off&SVG=off#2The terrestrial world shown is half as close to its star as Earth, but the star is cooler so the planet is habitable. It's two-thirds the size, but .87 the gravity and about three quarters the surface area of Earth. It has slightly less land and is slightly warmer. It's breathable, but the atmo is half oxygen and half nitrogen and at half normal pressure. No wonder it's around Sigma Draconis, it's a fire hazard. Though the pressure should reduce that. Any Imperial Guard regiment raised here would have to wear rebreathers pretty much anywhere else... The year is also about half that of Terra, so the age of adulthood would be 36.

Does that mean that a 36 year old from that planet will look like a 20 year old Terran?
The system you generated looks interesting; only one out of eleven planets with a breathable atmosphere.
