Hi All,
So I need some clarification on the rules regarding units with barrage (specifically a unit of 2 Wyverns). How does the rolling to hit rules work? The way I have been playing with my group is this: I initially roll for the first mortar and If I like the placement of the blast I leave it where it is, or I re-roll both the scatter die and 2 D6 if I want to use its twin-linked ability. Once the initial blast location has been established, I then roll a single scatter die for the remaining 3 mortars on the Wyvern (without the twin-linked special rule). After that, the second tank fires from the initial blast marker rolling one scatter die per mortar (again without the twin-linked special rule).
I feel like this is wrong, however, the group I play with insists that this is the correct procedure for barrage units based on the 7th edition rules. Maybe this is correct but any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

This is wrong. When in a squad of two it goes like this:
Place Template Roll 2d6 plus scatter for initual shot. Reroll for twin-linked if desired Roll single scatter die for each remaining mortar shot (7 times) Reroll for twin linked on EACH mortar shot if desired. (reroll up to 7 times)
The answer is under multiple barrages and the rules for squadrons and vehicles. Squadrons are essentially treating as normal units. So are vehicles. Basically think of it as squad of devastators with twin-linked instead of vehicles. Each weapon is independent. Normally they would fire and all get twin-linked. Now add in multiple barrage. The only thing the multiple barrage rule does is allows the follow on shots to have reduced scatter. They are still independent weapons/shots and all benefit from the addition special rules of the system.
