Welp, the Today thread broke the internet. We always knew this day would come, but we assumed it would be because of our lunacy rather than it's size. We're going to lock and pin the old thread while we conduct experimental surgery on it. Of course, the IGMB wouldn't be what it is without some kind of Today thread, and what better day to start over than the 4th of July? Happy Re-birthday Today, and Happy Birthday America

Oh, and today may also be the last day Greece exists before it dissolves into a big gooey pile of yogurt and debt, depending on how the vote goes tomorrow. So, there you go, triple historic.

problem with Greece is they seem to think that money grows on trees. lol the big flaw with the socialist left agenda is that really each individual person is voting based on their own needs not what's best for the country / people as a whole which is the whole point of the left, other wise you may as well be a capitalist and look out for yourself, as ive already said individuals will be voting on whats best for that individual not whats best for the wider economic situation. The vote is meaningless anyway, its a stunt by the Greek government to say look we are nice and gave you a choice in the matter, were as I think they know there is not much they can do either way, the bailiffs are at the door and they don't take cheques lol

People with mass unemployment, no money and less pay, falling pensions aren't going to vote centre-right, especially since it was the centre-right that got them in the mess in the first place.

Can we not start off something as glorious as Son of Today: The Revengence with political nonsense?
Like, how's this? The first Sunday of the month, there's a mini-festival in Ogaki. Kind of like an In the Streets event, if your town has that. Anyway, there was a band out there this afternoon that was actually pretty good. It was like a live performance of the Megaman X soundtrack in style. But with lyrics. I got a full-on Storm Eagle stage bgm vibe while walking around, and it made me feel good.

the moral is that governments will always act to keep voters, in this case the voters wanted more and more for less all the time (im talking previous 10 -20 years) then all of a sudden when they cant balance the books they say free money please, but taking on more debt just increases the long term problem, only solution would be to wipe the debt but then that mine and every other eu members taxes being lost as a result, im just glad the uk kept the pound.

Picked up the new White Dwarf today, and gotta say that the Age of Sigmar stuffs looks really tasty... Especially the Khorne thangs.
Had an awesome weekend hanging out with friends, and am now putting the finishing touches on something awesome I've been working on. Pics to follow sometime soon.

Yeah, my friend at the comic store said that the latest WD with the free mini sold out almost immediately yesterday, but fortunately I paid them a visit Friday and requested that they set one aside for me. I'm already thinking about Blood Angel-y stuff to do with the Sigmar minis, whilst the Khorne stuff just has me in a BLOOD FRENZY!

The video to Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones always comes up once per day on Vintage TV. It's just knowing when dammit!
The new new new SM codex is unreal; do you want a million free rhinos on top of your rhinos on top of your rhinos?
I might just stack a pile of rhinos on top of each other and move the entire army as one conglomerate company sized nutshell of rhino-dom.

I'm actually considering giving in and getting some Derpturions for my Crimson Fists side project. They've been partially assembled for years now, but have yet to see primer. If I get the 'Turdions, though, I'm going to have to convert them to look less derpy... If possible. But yeah, the thing that leaped out at me was that Thunderfire cannons can be taken in units of three now.

The lascannon ones aren't bad for the range plus you'll be using IF tactics so that's sweet. You have to upgrade their chest mounted guns to missile launchers though.

Does this mean that Req goes down as the last poster in the longest thread of proboards history?

The fact that I'm wearing no underwear, no trousers and a baseball hat with an arm and hammer coming out of the top, means I'm already being watched.

Maoists don't generally discuss macroeconomics, or pensions, or pay or conditions; they just start executing people.

Today, I'm on day two of my week off from work, and the first of three days I'm spending within walking distance of the Chesapeake bay. Turns out I managed to snag a $179/per night room (with built in jacuzzi, woo!) for only $95/per night. This is either a sign that this trip will be very good, or that everything will go down hill from here.
