The Tomb Kings look like they could be models for hollows from Dark Souls. I think Pierre the Pirate Parrot needs an actual sign next to him that reads, "Squawk!"

Great work on those Tomb Kings and the Pirate Parrot nutty!
I like that you’ve gone with 2 totally different modelling projects. One colourful the other gritty and muted.
Nice job.

A proposal: When designing a mini, the designer has to hold the pose they put the mini in for one minute in front of a full length mirror. If they fall over, hurt themselves, feel like a fool, or can't actually do it, then they have to design a new pose.

heck yes!
... can I add that any pose the create must be modelled on both female and male forms before decieding if it is viable.

Do they have to wear armor and/or metal swimwear when holding said pose?

Boob plate must be worn if the sculptor is male.

2021 Hobby Update: I've painted a US Sherman company for Flames, and now I'm working on a British army for Tunisia circa 1943 since I accidentally figured out a camo scheme I like. How're everyone else's projects coming along?

Loving your Chaplains! The one on bike is one of my favourite models in the Primaris range.
I’d forgotten about Man’O War. Used to really enjoy that back in the day!
Keep the pics coming.

well, since you asked! A staged photoshoot of a defiant Blood Angel force fending of the purple horde: The beginnings or a GorkaMorka gang: Some more boats: The 'almost entirley green stuff' squad: And the build station, including valentines roses (with skulls in - cus my GF's fething cool like that): There have been a few more patrol games, though I'll get round to posting those reports in a while as we've mostly been playing blood bowl, my lads Elf Union team have a good lead in the league and I'm trying to make a comeback with my Wood Elves: The leagues going well, with the four teams having played about 9 games each, my Orcs have a blitzer with catch - fianlly making their passing game somewhat less laughably bad, though they still struggle to pick up the ball, the Lizards are just getting nastier - 3 kills so far, the Union have an invincible blitzer; +2 AV and Side-Step, Block and Dodge!, while the Wood Elves can score in 1 turn due to a catcher with +1MA. well, til nextr time, ttfn

I played Commonwealth forces in Flames for the first time today, and I think they might be my preferred army going forward. I ran my New Zealand infantry (supported by Shermans, Achillies, and a stupid amount of AT guns) against American armor. One platoon of my Upsidedown men ran off a ranger company (well, to be fair, six wasps lit the rangers on fire and my infantry mopped up) while the other punched a tank to death. Fear the Kiwi.
This is also marks the first time I ran a bunch of newly painted units and they didn't do terribly in their first table top outing.

Another win for the New Zealanders, bringing them to 2-1-0. Highlights from the game...
- A platoon of Stuarts rolling up an entire flank, literally running over an infantry platoon, an HMG platoon, and a company command team, despite being bad at assaults. They ended up taking the objective that won the game. - A Firefly that cored every single tank it shot at. - A pair of typhoons that shredded an enemy tank formation. They knocked out four Shermans and three halftracks and caused the formation to break, causing 26pts tank platoon to run off the table without me having to fire a shot at them. If I include the units lost in the formation break they caused, they accounted for almost 1/3rd of the enemy army for only 8pts. I lost one plane to AA fire, but the other tanked 7 hits in a single turn to complete his strike run.
Honorable mention goes to my Daimler armored cars and their attendant Dingo, which launched a suicide charge up the opposite flank and knocked out an SPG and half an infantry platoon and delayed my opponent sending reserves to fight my main attack. I'm really loving the British light vehicle game, and I credit the army's continued success to their paint job.
No pictures sadly, but I'm signed up to run British paras for a D-Day event on the 5th. I'll post pictures for that!

treadiculous Did you free hand sculpt the mostly green stuff sculpt? Or use a mold template? Here is a picture of my board from a dummy game I set up the other day. I haven't played any real games for a while on account of hiding away from the pandemic.

Our store in TX has been open for games and paint nights for atleast 6 months now but I just havnt summoned the energy to go in. They opened way before widespread vaccinations and the time I went in to grab something no one was wearing masks so yeah.

My local store got lucky. They have enough space to socially distance the gaming tables so they were able to keep games going by requiring masks, disinfecting everything every night, and putting terrain in isolation for a few days after use. Even then they could only put three tables in rotation at a time and the Magic community had to move online until restrictions got eased.

Stores have been open for a month or so here, but there's not much in terms of gamenights/events at the moment. I'm part of a local gaming club though and we "rent" space at a community center every other week, that's opening up later this month though. There's something to be said about playing pick-up games, but I generally prefer the 'usual suspects'

I spent most of my summer working which, as a teacher, is wrong and unnatural. Did a bit of running and very little modelling on my off days.
I'm slowly getting back into the hobby side of things now that stores/clubs are opening up again. Started off with updating the colourscheme for my guardsmen, but my friends are starting a new Necromunda campaign so I shifted gear and am now building some "grimdark" Delaque.
How was your summer?
