Loving the Space Sharks, they have a sort of Gladiator vibe going on. The war paint is a nice touch too.

Looking good, the yellow on the lamenters looks really clean. I also like the shoulderpad of the second space shark terminator, very tribal looking

Loving the Mountain Goat chariots! Your Marines are coming along nicely too!

The chariots are from a Polish company (at least I think they're Polish) called Unreleased Miniatures where they make just that. The DCHL (big Hobbit/LOTR group around here) buys models from them all the time for scenarios and whatnot since they do a lot of the characters/units from the game that have rules but no models. The leader is a friend and asked me to paint them up for an event he was running at the Historicon a few weeks back.

update time once again. I used to only have one project at a time but these days it seems Im juggling 15 different half finished squads/armies/etc of my own before I even get to "commissions". But these are some things Ive finished recently that I think look kinda cool. Random Space Wolf I painted for fun. I dont have an army of them but always thought they look really cool so I traded some guy for the bits and came up with him. Lone Wolf Ulric Crestfelm... And I caught the deathwatch bug too. I took a group shot of the squad plus watchmaster but upon later inspection, it is super blurry so I wont bother uploading it. I have a few individual shots though. And yes I know I forgot the pouches on the front. I started painting them before I realized and now I kinda like the effect so they will all be like that. The Watchmaster is still WIP but getting there. If anyone has any cool obscure chapter ideas, he needs ones. His blade still needs finishing but other than that... God do I love frag cannons. And now for some fantasy. I rarely play Sigmar, though it is a fun game, but I cant get enough of painting empire. I just love their look so when I had the opportunity to pick 20 greatswords and a cannon/crew for dirt cheap, I pounced. These are the first 10, the rest are about half done. The cannons done now too (though this pic doesnt suggest such) but I didnt feel like snagging a pic. And the free WD model, which is actually quite awesome even if I dont really like the armies aesthetic. And finally, a little teaser for you guys of my next project. See if you can guess what it is (though it is immediately obvious)

Almost finished dread. Im waiting on the inquistion "=I=" to arrive to glue on his shoulder but other than that he is done. He is Venerable Brother Chyron, self dubbed "Last of the Lameneters". He is an actual named character (with no rules) who was seconded to the deathwatch sometime before the Lamenters ran into the 'nids so he actually believes himself to be the last of his chapter. Because of this, he is extremely hostile towards tyranids and will often refuse orders (or just give general sass) to sate a blood lust against him. His watch captain has actually threatened to expel him from the Deathwatch before, which would mean oblivion for him, but he doesnt give a crap and the threat has yet to be enacted. Now that I finally have a Lamenters army (one Ive wanted to do for years and years but wasnt ready to paint that much yellow), I obviously couldnt resist having him be my dread. And a group shot (watchmaster still not done, brooding on that weapon and his chapter)

So after cutting off a chunk of my thumb on my painting hand (I have pictures of that if anyone wants to see hehe and you can actually see the bandaging in the last post with my dreadnought), work on all fronts grinded to a halt for a while. But after regaining partial use of it, I launched back into painting my death watch. I am now up to 10 vets, 5 vanguard, a venerable dread, a captain and a watchmaster. Each man represents a different chapter and I plan on continuing that by sculpting other chapters insignia onto blank shoulder pads so if anyone out there has a home brew chapter they want represented, nowso your chance! Next, Im buying my buddies box of vets, termies, and codex and then i will be splitting Death Maaque with the new girlfriend (I've got her hooked on painting already and she loves the look of the harlequins!!!!) Here they are as they stand.

OK double post I know but I wanted to show off the girlfriends first ever model. She made her own space marine chapter she has dubbed the Swamp Monsters haha. Since this she has painted a full tactical squad and has just started an assault squad and some harlequins. I'm quite proud of her, plus I'm super excited she's enjoying the hobby. I had her try a game of sigmar at the local GW and she really enjoyed that too but I haven't sold her on 40k yet. With time... Also a teaser for my next project. An interegator to serve under my Ordo Xenos Inquisition in a narrative campaign we are running. He is armed with a stalker patern combi-torrent flamer, thus the rediculously large gunumber (it was the weapon he randomly rolled).

Those are looking really nice. The auspex on that swamp monster has come out really well too.

Thanks guys! It means a lot. The auspex was the girlfriend painting too. She wanted to do it the "right" way since I usually just smack some blood for the blood god on lenses. I had to make up a quick scheme for her and pretend like I knew what I was doing haha

It's worked out. I guess with soul gem paints you can be even lazier now.

The only one I've worked is the red one. Its not bad but I haven't played with it too much. I did use it the highlight blood for the blood god to decent effect.

Project for the week: finish all my unfinished armor... And an eldar farsear I picked up just to play with, no intentions of making an army out of them but I want to try out some bright colors. Got to say I'm not super happy with it but whatever.

The blue is nice. All the colours together have something of a comic book vibe going on.

Thanks! As far a bright colors go, comic book vibe is quite the compliment.
