Hi,
After my first step into Krieg list, I spent last two days wondering on them, perfecting and planning new lists, although I cannot reach a firm decision about which kind of list is best to use (Siege, or Assault Brigade)... These two is what I got for both the possibility and I see weakness and goodness in both of them. Obviously the Siege list lack of mobility and I don't know if 60 men could be enough to grab objectives here and there across the field especially in standard mission, where I need to hold them and not just grab one for a turn like in Maelstrom. On the other hand the recycle of the troops in the assault Brigade is good in standard missions to consolidate closest objectives, but not to run a second time to the distant ones.; letting only Grenadiers and Engineers to hold their ground far away from the safety of their trench...
Both lists have a decent punch with artillery, with a prevalence for the Siege list (Obviously).
My usual opponents play Chaos (Loth of T6, bike, Walkers ecc ecc), Tyr (HOrde with a bunch of MC and a duo of Flying Hive Tyr), Eldar (Lot of D weapon with Ghost Formation and the psy-fighter, or Lot of Aspect Warriors with all their nonsense super extra rules)
There they are:
SIEGE LIST 2000 Pt
HQ
Command + 1 Melta + Master of Ordenance
ELITE
3 Thudd Guns
10 Grenadiers + 2 Melta + H. Flamer
10 Grenadiers + 2 Melta + H. Flamer
TROOPS
Command Platoon Squad
Rifle Squad

Rifle Squad + Flamer
3 Lascannon
5 Engineer + Melta
Centaur
5 Engineer + Melta
Centaur
10 Engineer + Flamer + H. Flamer
FAST
Hell Hound
HEAVY
Medusa Emplacement
Medusa Emplacement
Leman Russ Conqueror + 3 HB
FORTIFICATION
Aegis Defence Line
Plan is to use the 60 men as cannon folder and to march in no men's land, grabbing Earlier Objectives (In maelstrom) and then die for the emperor. Engineer and Grenadier are there for counterattack, destroy veichles, or hold the ground till the end. Medusa for heavy infantry and Quad Gun for the light one. The only really mobile units are the small engineer which will try to hide till the last moment and then run for a far objective being troops with OS.
ASSAULT BRIGADE 2000 Pt
HQ
Command + 2 Melta
ELITE
2 Griffon with Carcass Shell
10 Engineer + 1 Melta + Carcass Shell
Hades Drill
TROOP
Platoon Command Squad + Flamer
Rifle Squad

Rifle Squad + Flamer
10 Grenadieer + 2 Melta + H. Flamer
Storm Chimera
10 Grenadier + 2 Melta + H. Flamer
Storm Chimera
FAST
Hellhound
HEAVY
3 Heavy Mortars
3 Lascannons
Leman Russ Conqueror + HB
Plan is to advance with a couple of infantry platoon seeking death (if I declare Forlon Hope), the rest of the army advance slowly, probably letting the third platoon behind to protect artillery for a couple of turns. Chimera do not rush for objective but support infantry along with the Russ and the Hell Hound, and then try to counterattack every threat that could drop from the sky, trample my front infantry ecc ecc. Russ and Hellhound, if still alive may run here and there (thanks to be fast) to grab objectives...
Both list seams to me good, and bot like me very, very much! Need advise from experience player and from DKoK general who are... :Dstill alive eh eh eh
