hi,
how would you organise a 3 player game?
1) I am thinking that at the start of each game round the order of play could change - this would prevent someone always being last each game round.
2) Another option is to prevent players from targeting more than one unit each turn so that it is harder to pick on and destroy a player before their go.
3) Another option is to randomise each phase of the round.
4) Another option is to play out each phase with all three players ie: all do movement, then all do shooting, then all do close combat etc.
5) Another option is that I join and make 2 teams of 2 (I'd rather stay a neutral umpire)
6) Any other idea's?

Option 5; but you don't have to be neutral.
To make it fun you could devise all kinds of alien deadly plants/ wildlife to attack both players. It could be a death world with dangerous dinosaurs or alien hunters moving about at random.

Could the triumph and treachery rules for warhammer be tweaked to fit 40k? Have seen games in flgs and they always seem a hoot
