After being out of the tournament scene for about 10 years I have decided to start playing competitively again. I have come up with a list that I think might work but I wanted to run it by everyone.
HQ Company Commander Carapace, plas pistol, powerfist, meltabomb 2x vet w flamer 2x vet w Melta Officer of Ordinance Chimera w/ extra armor
Troops 2X Vets w 3 melta guns 2x chimera w. extra armor 2x vet sgt with bolt pistol and power axe
Infantry platoon Platoon command commander w/ boltgun 2x plasma guns 1x lascannon 3x infantry squad with las cannon and plasma gun
Heavy Support 3x wyvern w cammo nets done as 3 HS choices
fast attack 3x Vendetta with wing missiles and 3x TL Las cannon three separate FS slots
Ageis Defense Line
1849 Points
What do you think?

looks like you're on the right track, however you've got a lot of upgrades that are nice to have but the points could probably be used more effectively, for example in the CCS you have 50pts worth of upgrades on your commander alone, that's one melta gun worth of points away from doubling the cost of squad. Here's what i would change while trying to stick to your original idea:
HQ
CCS 2 plasma guns las cannon master of ordinance chimera
ministorum priest
Troops
2 veteran squads 3 melta guns chimera hull heavy flamer dozer blade
Infantry platoon
PCS heavy flamer 3 flamers chimera hull heavy flamer dozer blade
3 infantry squads las cannon flamer
Heavy Support
2 wyverns camo netting
2 wyverns camo netting
fast attack 3 vendetta
Ageis Defense Line
1770pts
so that would leave 80pts to play with but nets you a priest to keep the combined infantry squad from getting swept, a chimera for the pcs, and another wyvern. I also switched the plasma guns for flamers as loading up infantry squads with a plasma and las cannon is rather expensive and the flamers provide nice overwatch potential which ive personally found to be useful when using the platoon as a bubblewrap for all your artillery. as for the command squads i switched the loadout between the PCS and CCS because if you want to use the master of ordinance you'd be better off with long range weapons as you have to stay still to call in bombardments. Additionally since the company commander is your warlord you want to make it as difficult as possible for the enemy to kill him so staying in the deployment zone would be good, which will also let him issue bring it down on the blob for some strength 10 las cannons. as for the remaining points it's up to you, i'd consider dropping the camo netting from the wyverns to free up 60 points which could go towards adding a primaris psyker/allied inquisitor and astropath and then maybe a comms relay for your defense line as you do have 510pts of flyers stuck in reserves.

If your company commander is in Close combat you're doing it wrong.
Take out every upgrade that isn't a gun. Extra armor, carapace, power axes/fists. All of that stuff. Buy more boots and guns. No matter how much you buff guard defensively, they still die in droves. They better option is to deal enough damage that you cripple the opponents ability to kill your guys.

Vegas,
4 suggested changes: 1.) As Sneaky Git and McCaptain suggest, I recommend you drop most of your vehicle and squad upgrades (other than the special and heavy weapons, of course). By this I mean drop the axes, camo netting, etc. Sneakygitz's post does a great job of demonstrating what you might want to do with the extra points. 2.) However, I encourage you to keep your chimeras' dozer blades. Dozer blades really help my Chimeras remain mobile so they can claim midfield objectives. 3.) In addition, I do encourage you to add a commie or priest to your lascannon platoon so you have the option of blobbing up and becoming fearless (or almost fearless in the case of a commissar). Blobbing up also makes your orders more efficient. 4.) Add a comms array to your aegis (it only costs 4 flamers in terms of points). This will help your vendettas come out when you need them. And, of course, you don't have to use the re-roll if you want to wait for enemy fliers to come on the board.
Other than that yours is a solid list. You have a firebase platoon behind an aegis, a trio of wyverns, a trio of vendettas, and 4 chimera-mounted squads.
Good luck! -Tallarn Commander
