Recently started fighting Dark Eldar, is there a guard commander who has lots of experience fighting this xeno type who can offer some insight?

40 views. What does a Commander have to do to generate some discussion around here?

Provide us with a detailed report of what precisely is troubling you with the hated Druchii, else our advice is to be very broadly spread.
General purpose advice would be to mechanize up, and use flamethrowers and sufficiently dispersed chimera squads to push up, if they're on foot, detailling demo charge teams to knock out heavier units (Grotesques/Wracks/Incubi). If they're attacking using the spikey flying bobsleighs, I recommend exactly the same tactic, except knock out as many of the bobsleighs initially.

I havent played the new DE yet, but faced the previous edition cidex quite often. I hear they've gottrn some new toys to really mess with leadership. Debuffs, feartests, etc. So meching up will help counter that. Besides: Most of their units are designed to shred toughness based units through volume of fire and poison, so they will chew through a platoon pretty quick.
Most of their anti-tank comes from weapons with the haywire or lance rules. So a Russ is about as durable as a chimera.
Their vehicles tend to be AV10, and jink/cover is their main way to survive. So even a humble flamer can damage them. Also keep in mind that since everything is open-topped: you can generate hits on the passengers if you hit the vehicle's hull with a flamer template.
In short: everthing that ignores cover will help & flamer templates are your friends.
I've never faced the frankenstein units, but imagine that demo charges will help to deal with those.

All I was looking for was broad advise. Thank you to both of you. I was including a few flamers in my lists, but taking your guys advice my next game against them ill bring lots of flamers My opponent uses the spiking bobsleds, the shooty ones and the transports, as well as venoms and some guys on foot. He also occasionally deepstrikes some big evil guys. Thanks for the advice guys

Depending on your force composition and intended tactics. Again, without info, it's pretty useless. What's your force comp? What's your enemies force comp?
Bring me more intelligence, conscript, lest I have you whipped.
