So it looks like we will getting new Killteam rules early next month. The box will include: - the rules - 10 tactical marines - 10 firewarriors/breachers + drones and a drone turret. all for £40 which is a pretty good deal I'm excited: Killteam has always been a fun game, and I play Tau & Marines as well as Guard. It would be cool if they released more boxes for different armies like they did with the flyers. More info: natfka.blogspot.nl/2016/08/new-boxed-game-kill-team-with-tau-vs.html#more

Kill Team is great, especially for those of us who have ended up with a little bit of everything in their collections.

That's nifty. For those of us on the other side of the big blue puddle, that comes out to $65. Considering the price of a squad of Tau is $50, that's a pretty nice deal. I'm liking the new boxed sets they've been punching out (and how they seem to be throwing the standard rules around essentially for free in them).

Agreed. The rules for the different games too are quite solid if you are also into board games. Nothing hugely special with them but quite fun for an evening.

Colonel Schaeffer is turning in his grave. Turning? He's spinning so fast that he's the only source of power in the entire Imperium!

I stopped by my local GW with the plan to pick up the box. They actually had a copy of the rules out so people can look at them, and after flipping through them for a few minutes decided against buying the set.
It's still a good deal on models so I'd might pick one up later on. But the rules where not so exciting that I felt I should get to playing right away.

I picked up the rules since the ebook version was so cheap, and I've test played two games. It's fun and quick (Deathwatch is hideously OP if they get the first turn), and it seems like a good intro game to get people comfortable with the rules, or as a way to do a fast pickup game that avoids most of the monstrous cheese formations. I wouldn't call it thrilling or addictive, but still, I like it.

Ugh, why have Black Library dropped mobi as a format. ePub displays so badly on my monitor it makes me sad.
