Hi all, considering this as my first list
HQ Company Comand Squad Carapace armour Camo Gear Master Of Ordnance
Company Comand Squad Carapace armour Camo Gear Master Of Ordnance
Troop Veterans 3x Melta Chimera Auto Cannon
Veterans 3x Melta Chimera Auto Cannon
Heavy Basilisk Battery Basilisk Basilisk
Leman Russ squadron Battle Tank lascannon Heavy Bolter sponson Battle Tank lascannon Heavy Bolter sponson
Leman Russ Squadron Demolisher Demolisher
This is my first list I've seriously considered buying after many many lists on battle scribe. Plan, Pie plates pie plates pie plates. Basilisks at the back of the board centred or in a corner dependant on terrain, Battle tanks at the back with best line of fire possibly close to basilisks, Command squads in terrain, to utilise camo cloaks and line of fire for Master of ordinance. Demolisher's moving forward, with chimera behind.
I have a few points to spend not sure if the commander needs a power weapon?
all thoughts greatly appreciated thanks for looking.

Armies that deep strike heavily could cause problems, so it might be an idea to drop a couple of artillery tanks and get either some rough riders to counter drop podding power armour, or some cheap platoon infantry to mass charge teleporting terminators or warp spiders.
Depending on opponents you might face flyers. Hopefully you'll talk with your opponent and ignore flyers - that's what I'm doing now and it saves me on anti-air units. However if you want to play random store games or tournies you will suffer vs flyer heavy armies so you'll need hydras or squads with flakk missiles or allied marine flyers if you actually want to dogfight as per the new DftS rules.
Powersword? Points are better spent on more dakka. Company command squads are BS4, like veterans so you could give one of them another hw team or both some cheap special weapons.

Looks fun, i'd drop the extra guns on the russes though, ordnance means they will snapshot everything else if they use their main gun.. so those points could be spent elsewhere IMHO. Do you play with formations? If you do; you could consider dropping one of the demolishers in favour of a manticore (for even more pieplates) this would almost get you an "emperor's wrath artillery company": -CCS in Chimera (mandatory upgrade) -Basilisk -Basilisk -Manticore -Techpriest The CCS gets to issue orders on the artillery pieces (split fire, pinning, or ignores cover) and if you give the vets a vox you can use them to twin-link shooting vs a single target per turn. If you are going to shell something... you might as well shell it with a pair of twin-linked cover ignoring Basilisks, right? Dropping the extra guns and a single demolisher would mean you'd have to scrounge together 30 points in total. Which you might have left over anyway if you are considering power weapons.
