Considering the size, that's still pretty good detail.
Has the already printer paid for itself in terms of what you've saved by printing your own stuff?

Considering the size, that's still pretty good detail. Has the already printer paid for itself in terms of what you've saved by printing your own stuff? The printer paid for itself in about 6 months selling RC tank parts. Now it pays for my hobby and lets me build stuff that isn't on the market. It's also made enough for me to get a resin printer so I can do fine detail. As my hobby pays for itself my girlfriend doesn't mind how much I'm spending I spend most of my time designing parts for Shapeways. These FOW tanks were just to try them out. This guy designed them- www.thingiverse.com/m_bergman/designs I added a bit of detailed and changed them to work best on my printer.

They look really incredible.
Is it easy to make terrain, such as ruins, hills, forests or small buildings for the same scale? I think you should totally do a board with printed scenery and lots more of those mini tanks.

There's lots of free scenery to download and print. I don't play FOW, I just wanted to see how these turned out and use them as camo' test peices for my 1/16 tanks.

Looking at these, they came out really well. You could pretty easily print out a score of Soviet tanks and you would have a full 2000 point flames of war army.
