I don't know if you even need the army book. I can't remember if the unit cards or whatever they're calling them will be free too, like in AoS. The pricetags for those books aren't bad, though. Granted, if you have a collection that spans across most or all of them, that's not an insignificant amount of $, but if you've got that many armies, you can probably afford it (unless you spent all your money getting those armies in the first place). I do like how the armies were split out between the books, but the specific lack of mention of Battle Sisters concerns me somewhat. Maybe I was being naive but when they said there'll be rules for all the models they currently sell I took them literally. And they still sell Battle Sisters. So I was expecting rules that make taking specifically SoB a viable option I had a long scan at the current line and there are lots of units that I forgot about like Schaefer's Last Chancers an Gaunt and his Tanith bunch. I've got a feeling that there won't be rules for them because the index books are too small to have all that varied content. That and those redonkulous prices are starting to dull my excitement for 8th ed somewhat.

I assume they're included under Agents of the Imperium. That's where they got shuffled in that odd-duck catch all book a while back.

PS, sisters of battle are included in the rules and are (apparently) extremely nasty.

As of the corporate retreat over the last few days, no new sisters are on the docket yet. However, tons of new, big stuff is going to be rapid fired over the next year that only development knows of.

Are they snap fit in the starter box or full kits?
I'm absolutely getting some when the full NuMarine release drops.

They are mono pose with the ability to play with the arms (especially if you cut the connection) and head position (at least with these ones). Each guy is a unique pose though.

Trust me, they are awesome models and easily convertable. They do come in multiple parts. For instance the jump marines each came as two torso pieces, two separate leg pieces (separated at the knee), each arm us completely separate (gun and shoulder pad are already connected), the head which can swivel, and the jump pack in three parts.

So despite being single pose models they' sound by your description to be quite easy to "individualise". I'm guessing that the marines will be similar. That's all good news.

Also glad there's no squatting there. But hope they're not too OP at the same time. I was slightly hoping for a new plastic range of SoB. The metal ones just look like a bunch of drag queens throwing a hissy fit. Silently waiting for new cuts that lean more to the quality of the utterly gorgeous new Celestine model. Not Eddie Izzard with a bolt gun.

Yep, He'd be a special character in a ''firing from the hip'' stance in his high heels, raspberry red beret With his make up done by the 'Eavy Metal team. Sorry, couldn't resist it. Introducing ... Sister Izzard Lilly Savage however would be some kind of canonness.

I've had in front of me a few of the regular squad and each is different with the Sgt being my favorite. He is bare headed and has his helmet actually sculpted as if attached to his belt. They even went so far as to make each of the twenty cultists unique. Also a new paint or two will be coming out, the one I saw was death guard green. The two jump marines I'm happy to say are actually mine as a reward for something or other.

When is the 8thboxset supposed to be in store?

Just been in my local GW and was told by staff the box set will be £95. In on the 17th I'm guessing.
So I looked at an online currency converter and £95 currently equates to $130 USD I think the $160 figure could indicate the Australian price as £95 currently equates to $165 AUD
I hope this has reduced the pulse rate somewhat.

I stand corrected sir. That's quite a difference in what you will be paying over the pond compared to us Brits.

Only FW prices follow anything close to the conversion rate. We usually get a slight price bump, and the Aussies always get soaked.
