Looks good, I really like the lighter blue. My only problem is with the bone trim on the shoulder pads, might be the pic but they kind of get lost in the gold. Apart from that you're off to a good start!

The colours work well together. It might be the light but usually you can spot the difference between bone and shiny gold. You could try to use a darker gold or bronze if you think the high pigment gold is too bright. Balthasar gold is very dark and bronz-ish or there is a very dark bronze colour that I'm trying to think the name of.. I like the shiny gold personally. If it's retributor gold I'd stick to using that ; the paint is so much easier to layer on than other metallic.

Yeah I think it's because I used ubsha bone (spelling) then darkened with seraphim sepia and just highlighted with screaming skull, might just put ubsha bone down then highlight with screaming skull. Also just noticed. The bolter needs touching up were I've been handling it. Greasy fingers lol

Yes; Ushabti bone is a good colour. You can darken it ever so slightly by adding a small sliver of black paint. That way it'll hopefully stand out from the gold.

You could always try screaming skull with a white line highlight? Will be a lot paler but will be stark against the gold.

Yes so ive tried screaming skull with a white hightlight and still don't like it, I might just go for pure white on the shoulder pad trims. like first company smurfs. It will be difficult to do on larger areas on vehicles though. here is the screaming skull with white highlight for now.

Looks great! I prefer the blue against the bone, the helmet stripe to tie it in really works too. Looking forward to seeing more!
