I am going to keep the old idea of building a full infantry Company as a long term hobby project. And I wondered if any one have the old platoon FOC from codex IG. I don´t need details, just how many of each kind of squad you could have in the FOC. And if I recall correctly there were also a HW platoon? If so I could need it as well.

BTW: I know I don´t need it any more but I want it for fluff reasons, and as my old models are all squad marked I want to keep building it the same way.

Sure: 1 pcs 2-5 infantry squads 0-1 conscripts (20-50) 0-3 special weapon squad 0-5 heavy weapon squads or sabre weapon platforms The Heavy weapon platoon was an apocalypse formation: 1 CCS 12+ heavy weapon squads Link (I guess it's alright to share this since it is no longer part of the rules, if not I'll take the link down)

You're welcome, My platoons are still in the works but I'm planning to build them along the lines of the 'old fashioned' infantry platoons, so I keep the old codex at hand . I would like to hear what you come up with organisation/loadout-wise. Always interesting to see what other people work out.

It´s going to be a Company in a Planetary Defence Force infantry regiment so I´m restricting myself a bit on how much plasma and other kind of weapons I can get. And I am not going to use full platoons but rather restricting squad choices based on what "feels" right. This means no Commissars, telephatica, auxilliaries et cetera. (I can use them when playing games and bulding armies, but they are not part of the hobby Project)
Company command platoon This is where I´ll go a bit more hobby since it is going to include stuff that aren´t really legal.
CCS: As of now it is a Captain, Vox and LC - The LC will be exchanged in order to keep them mobile. PCS: 1stLT, vox, banner, All members equipped with laspistol and chainsword. - I imagine them doing their last stand protecting the Company banner. 2 SW squads with 3 snipers - They are intended to be sharpshooters and scouts as the planet are renowned for their hunters. Med squad: Three medics and Three orderlings Enginseers squad: 2 Enginseers and 4 servitors - Being attached on Company level to care for the assigned vehicles. Priest squad: 4 priests and 2 crusaders - The planet are very religious so I Think it is fitting for a priest squad to be attached to the CCS
1st Platoon As the Company are a line Company this is the basic platoon. If I extend the Company in later stages the platoons will be like this one. The platoon are intended to engage infantry and light vehicles. PCS: Bolter, 2 plasma, vox, medic 1st-3rd squad: vox, GL, ML 4th-5th squad (veterans): I don´t know but they will include a HW squad. 6-7th squad: 3 Autocannons - I might include a 8th squad with Heavy Bolters as well. Or Exchange 7th squad to HBolter. I haven´t decided yet.
2nd Platoon This platoon is designed for assaulting fortified position or being mobile enough to reinforce where needed. PCS: Boltpistol, Vox, 2 flamers, Hflamer 1st-3rd squad: Vox, flamer 4th squad (veterans): Powerfist, 3 meltas, vox 5th squad (vterans): Boltpistol, 3 meltas, vox 7th squad (SW): 3 flamers 8th squad (SW): 3 demolition
3rd Platoon Support platoon. PCS: Haven´t got a clue 1st-2nd squad: 3 Mortars 3rd-4th squad: 2 LC 5th-6th squad: Two ordinary squads that I haven´t decided yet how to equipp. But they are there to protect the HW squads fluff wise so I need to figure out what is fitting.

Looks pretty neat; the only "illegal" unit is the med squad right? The rest of it you could put on the table using codex rules as far as I can tell.
