That Cannoness Veridyan looks way less ridiculous than I expected her to based on the other versions I've seen of her. Nice work.

Thats a really nice clean and crisp paint job there.
I especially in awe of the faces, really nicely picking out the details without going overboard.
One aspect I think might be the camera or could maybe be improved upon is the paper of the rosettes, I would give them a gentle wash of brown to make them contrast with the white a little more.
Other than that they are superb!

Other than that they are superb! Thanks Treads for your kind words. You're correct on the rosettes. I will apply a wash and then go over them again, also writing needs to be added too them all. The Exorcist was my very first Sisters item and I'm quite proud of this model over the others, my first time using white via a Brush was an experience but I have the hang of it after a couple of coats. The Hair on the sisters was under strict instructions to look like my girl friends hair and to make them look natural. I have another Cannoness and Troops to come next.

Thanks Paimon, Even after painting her I still don't like the model, It's a Model of Lady Gaga. That's what makes it good! Recently I was building a Slaanesh hero (the metal one that rides the boob snake from the Fantasy range) and noticed that they have the same shoes. Oh! Do you have the instruction pages for assembling the Exorcist? Now that GW has moved them into those white boxes they don't send them with instructions so I have been leaving mine unassembled for fear of messing it up. It also seems like a model you have to consider assembling carefully so you don't end up with brush inaccessible bits. Sisters look great btw. Red and Black is a great choice for an easy scheme that can look wonderful and have a strong visual impact. White is much more of a pain to paint but you seem to have got a very clean and crisp white on your icons. The lenses on the Exorcist have also come out nicely.

My partner and I think she has Horse feet, they don't look right at all.
Sadly not as I got this very cheap off ebay and pre-Built, I guess there is a PDF on the internet somewhere or use my one as a guide for buliding?
My other half is painting the sisters so I want to be sure it's easy/fun for her to paint and for me, I love black & Red.

The only problem I have with how the heels came out is that they aren't flame thrower heels like in the original art. Though I guess it would bother me if all the sisters had them, but since everyone else has sensible power armoured shoes for grinding the bones of xenos I think the one exception is fine.

Cool stuff, are those repressors from FW? I wonder what the new release will bring the bolter girls. They could very well get something big from GW itself; most of the new armies/factions have had some pretty impressive centerpiece models added if they didn't have one already. Although Celestine could probably be seen as one, I wouldn't be surprised if they get a fancy new 'big-kit' along with their release.

I love Penitent Engines! They’re a total swine to build but look so Grim Dark. The codex is coming next year so hopefully there’ll be more fun stuff to come.

I think that Sisters players with unpainted metal armies are now in an unofficial race against GW to get all their models painted before the plastics arrive and we end up burying our old models under new ones waiting for paint.
What percentage are you done now, Major Downer?

Cool stuff, are those repressors from FW?. I can confirm 2 out of the three are FW, the Third one I got on eBay and I wasn’t convinced it was FW. Who wouldn’t want a Sisters super Heavy or a Knight type model.

What percentage are you done now, Major Downer? I have 4 Sisters left to complete and base and I need a Rhino hatch too, for one of the Repressors. Have you managed to complete your Sisters ready for the new kits?

Oh ok, that's a hell of a 'to do' list, I hope you get some done before plastics arrive.
What list do you run when playing 8th? I like dominion squad in an Immolator, you can really get them moving quickly up the board but thats the only play I have at the moment.

I haven't actually had the motivation to play 8th. I've still played a few games of 7th recently. As for list theories I was writing a few Castellan lists with Sisters infantry and artillery to try and motivate me to paint models for that list.
My immediate paint concerns have been finishing my Chaos 7th list and now I'm getting through the first Zombicide box with a small contingent of Chaos deamons waiting on the side lines. I do want to get some Sisters mixed into the queue though but depending on how long I've got till the plastics come it might be quite a race.

There is a pre-release sister coming out this year, not sure when but I do know, I will require new pants when she's in my hands.

I receieved some Sister's from our very good friend Dave on the IGMB. Dave has sorted me out and definatly helped me build my sister force, so I take my hat off to you sir. This is what they looked like when they arrived. Now I've used Nail varnish remover and detol to remove paint from my mini's in the past. Detol is the purest of evil and I got fed up with the rubbish results and the mess it made. I did some digging and found BioStrip 20, you can by this in the tub like I have or in the large containers. I found this tub on ebay for just over £10, which maybe pricy but the great thing is I can reuse this a couple of times, so I'm ok with paying that price. I've used most of mine to strip the tanks but I had some left over for these ladies. Chuck them in, brush them all in the gunge stuff and wait 30 minutes. below is the result after 30 minutes. I brushed all the gunge off under the running tap and the old paint came off pretty quickly. Obviously there are some tight area's that didn't strip but that's ok as they scrapped off easily, with my modeling tool. I've used this stuff for Plastic and resin, Plastic works just as good and had no issues. With resin I waited 20 minutes before stripping, as it's more delicate but still worked really well(See Baneblade in my other thread)

A small WIP update for my sisters. Exorcist WIP Pentient Engine WIP This is where I'd like feed back, my first Seraphim Completed. I went for the chrome look so they would stand out from the standard sister. I also tried blending on the sword, it's not great but it's not a horrendous attempt at it, I'll make some edits to it. Once they're all completed I'll do a full army shot again.

The seraphim looks good, but it's hard to tell what is going with the sword (might be because I'm looking at the picture on my phone).
Maybe a side by side shot with a regular sister is in order, but from what I can tell they look suitably different from each other.
-edit- organ gun and the WiP of the pentienr engine also look great.

Great stuff! The blending work looks well done from the picture.
I love penitent engines (once they're built!) hopefully with the release of Chapter Approved they'll be a viable and fun unit.

Maybe I worded it wrong, I mean't I wanted the Seraphim to have a different Scheme to that of the normal Battle sisters. Penitent Engines are great fun to use in close combat but to build, not so much. Hopefully GW will sort it out, not sure when Chapter approved is released? I did a little update on the sword to look less blocky and completed two more. The Plasma Priest is ready for the 1.
