Lol! Patience mate! Hopefully you won’t have to wait too long now.
She looks great.
Basing is really important in this hobby, bringing your whole force together with a uniform scheme is a great idea (though rather time consuming)

With the updates they put out and painting her, I've got over excited haha.
I hope they bring out a 'Start Collecting' set for the sisters on release.
I'm eyeing up the following: 1 x Start collecting set.(If on release day)if not, a squad of Seraphim sisters. 1 x Exorcist. 1 x Penitent.
I think this would foreful my needs without the Burn-out creeping in.

These look seriously cool mate!
The colour scheme works really well, I can see them a long with your other armies or as a stand-alone force.
I’ve always loved Penitent Engines, you’ve done a cracking job on this one! I remember building one of the old metal ones (I still get rages from it now)
Those bases frame the models really well.
Keep em coming!

Thanks Gents. It's been a while but I've been busy in the back ground. I love the colour Red, so all I've done is make little colour changes around the armour to make them my own. They really do pop off the bases, I was going for a temple ruin look. (If anyone is intrested in bases) www.unrealwargamingstudios.co.ukalienlab.store The metal Pentient Engines are the worst kits for the metal sisters. Thankfully I can confirm they're so much easier, you could build them in your sleep. The down side to the new ones are that they are smaller compared to the old ones. The changes to the base sizes are annoying, I was stubborn and put the PE on a 60mm base like my others, however I will have to change all my other bases to 32mm but that can wait. More to come soon.

Another great thing about the old penitent engines, and chaos dreads, was that you can stuff them down a tube sock and use them as a means of self defense.

I stepped on the mounted Archaon model once.. one of the spikes on that horse pierced my foot.

I stepped on the mounted Archaon model once.. one of the spikes on that horse pierced my foot. I once tripped over a leman russ tank on the floor (less tripped on it than tripped trying to avoid it) and landed face first into a box with some 15mm metal Macedonians. About 15 little bee sting looking wounds all over my cheek from their pikes... But more importantly the sisters look great mate. Love the bases too

I've been super busy with work and illness that my painting went on hold. Finally getting round to showing you my WIP of St Kathrine and I have to say, GW really pulled it out of the bag with this kit. I haven't had any problems building the kit so far and I magnatized all of them other than the Bed for St Kathrine, she will be been glued in place. The closest one to being completed in the lady at the front, I've given her the Saint George's Cross on the sheild and given her a Knights templar kind of look. She's my favorite out of them all. The Triumph of St Kathrine I will finish off this kit first and then I have the below on my Schedule. Finish of Sisters Set. Hospitila I'm looking to purchase an Exorcist once the above has been completed.

That's coming along nicely!
Such a beautiful and characterful model. Your paint scheme really suits it.
I'm loving the St George cross on the front sister.
Glad you didn't have too many troubles building them (I think I'd make a right hash of it!)
I've heard the rules aren't too shabby also?
Looking forward to the finished product!

Thanks Jud.
This is a big project model, there is so much detail all over the model, I keep discovering new area's all the time.
You know the knew GW stuff is super easy to build, I think you could do it with your eyes closed.
The rules are pretty cool, each person on the base have their own special rules. My worry is that it's so big it will be trageted and removed in the first turn.
I have some time this weekend to push on with this kit, more to come next week.

There is some crazy detail in that kit: it's not even done and there already is a lot going on. I'm sure it'll look amazing when your done.

Thanks gents, this really is a project and half and I'm so nearly done. The current update for you. I have two sisters still in WIP, along with some backpacks. The bed needs some more details to be completed. Base tidy up. Lastly the floating babies.

Wow dude, looks stunning. Sharp and crisp all over and the gloomy tones dont overpower. The base is just excellent. Whats your recipe for the marble if I may ask?

Loving this!
You’re doing a great job.
I really like the direction GW have gone with the new Sisters. They’ve got that dark age mixed with sci-fi that (should) define the Imperium.
Keep up the progress reports!

Cool stuff; I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the little cherub things lugging the reliquary around.

Your Sisters are looking badass mate!
The Triumph of St Kathryn is such an amazing kit. Looks great in your scheme.
I did wonder how fiddly the Cherub would be but you’ve done a cracking job on them.
Well done all round.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Exorcist (one of my favourite models in the range)

Thanks for the kind words Jud.I hope to come back to it at a later date when the motivation is there. I have another surprise too, I came home to find a surprise from the Misses. Can you guess what it is? I'll give you a clue: Her orginal head made the Charcter look like a Non Binary Vegan, that if you disagreed with her opinion, you are automaitcally a Donald Trump supporter. I wanted her to look more 'Epic' because the two option you get in the kit are shocking (BAD GW!) so I did some head swaps with a friendly chap and I used the sister superior head from the box set.

I quite like the head you have used. The wind effect on the hair looks great!
I just looked at the two head options you get in that kit. Is the helmet head as bad as it looks? The other one looks pretty standard but that helmet without a faceplate looks crazy.

The other one looks pretty standard but that helmet without a faceplate looks crazy. I've looked at both and honestly they will sit in the bit's box, I think GW got this completely wrong, she's up there as focal point and she should be looking epic and not like a Car crash.

Have you considered facial surgery on the head? A lot can be achieved with a scalpel. Well.. you can always make her look like Dave No Nose..
The Sororitas look really amazing. The Triumph of St Katherine is a real visual feast.
