Nice! I've only read the first one/two, but I do like an "old fashioned" battle report. So I'm saving the rest of them for my next night-shift.

Thanks very much! The Court Of The Yellow King Awakens. Necrons vs Astra Militarum. Technically it's not the Krablokistan 47th but merely the Scargill Planetary Defence Force (Kinnock Region) but it's AM sticking to the filthy xenos.

The Battle For world's End is another run out for the Scargill PDF. This time the Tau attempt a hostile take over of an Inn (and it's surrounding settlement).

Nice batrep! Always good to hear the space hobbits did good work, makes me want to get some myself.
I'm not super up to date with my Tau knowledge: but I'm fairly sure the riptide has fly, so it can fall back from combat and still shoot. So charging it in order to tie it up in combat won't do much.

You are correct but not moving the unit would have doomed them also. I was thinking the Riptide would be at a -1 to hit if it moved, making the chances of survivability slightly better.

Reminds me of those old Foleran First ones I used to read. Probably going to go back and read the rest you put up.
