I want some.. or a couple... I'm sure I need roughriders on bikes for something
Plenty of cool new stuff in general:

Bike rough riders are heresy! Not a patch on oat powered transportation methods.
They do look pretty cool. I'm actually liking the idea of rough riders more recently. Not for the lances, but a 5 man squad with 2 plasma and a pistol with outflank seems like a nice cheap unit for what it does.

Yeah.. you can't use a lance on a motorbike unless you're Indiana Jones.
Trick made cool guard bike rules a while ago but it was designed for 6th or 7th ed.
Mind you these are nice. If only I didn't need a Vindie, 2 myphitic blighthaulers, a box of plague and a million other things.

You may have to refresh my memory on that one, I only have a vague recollection.

My precious tables! I had forgotten about that thread. I should have asked my cat, she probably would have remembered.
I do like the idea of Guard bikers in that harassing role. I wonder how these GSC bike will work out.

Dear God man what have you started!?!

Dead cool and just I´m aking for transforming it into an Imperial Guard vehicle. Some kind of light scout vehicle? Or is it perhaps a car for transporting commanders and VIPs? A light transport vehicle for the support platoon?

looks like an easy elysian rip off, counts as tauros venerator or similar...
looks great, hopefully they'll continue with buggies so they can feed into the SpeedFreaks market too.

I'll be getting some to run as a tauros or something. The goliath was cool, but this thing is so much better.
It just annoys me that we got stuck with the taurox..

Another idea is to remove the machineguns. Remove the mining laser and replace it with beam light and voila. You´ve got a local police force patrol vehicle.

From the pictures on the warhammer community website, it's a bit longer than a Goliath but otherwise about the same size. Probably a touch bigger than a Rhino then. My fear is that it will be similar in price to the Goliath too, which will probably preclude me getting one. I feel like it might be a bit big for a venator buggy but would actually make a neat hellhound or salamander conversion.

Genestealer Cults have definitely come a long way since limousines and suicide bombers!
They’re getting all the toys it seems.
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s kitbashes and conversions.

the wargamesexclusive shop has some very cool genestealer cult limo's and cars, and some non-cult too.
worth checking out, though there are a few stupid models on their store too!

I think five people put the bikes on preorder at my store but only one of them actually plans to play GSC. Looking at the sprues, they've got seperate torsos and legs much like the regular cultist kits, so kitbashing with Cadians should be easy. I've ordered one kit to test the theory. If it works I'll pick up two more for a squad of 12 bikes and three of the quads for scout sentinels.

I’ve ordered a box and i’m thinking to have two flamers, a Sgt with the power Axe and a Plasma PIstol, to keep them cheap with a bit of a punch. I never thought about using the Quad as a sentinel, great Idea! I’m gutted they can’t use the sniper rifle because the Jackal Alphas looks amazing. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s take on these bikers.

The sentinel thing will depend on the base of the quad bike but I'm looking forward to trying to mount an autocannon on it. I'll have 10 guys just with the bare bones loadout, then an extra pair with meltaguns I can sub in as needed.

Sounds like a good plan.
I picked up one of the genestealer upgrade kits to experiment with the other day. With a bit of modification those heads might just end up serving the Emperor.

I've seen some conversions of the Ridgerunner and the bikes to Imperial Guard standard. Depends on your opponent, I suppose.
