Didn't hear any news about this, sorry if I'm late to the party here! Just getting back into 40k after yet another 3 year hiatus. Been playing Grey Knights and Deathwatch (always been a fan of the Inquisition). Wondering if any of you fine people are into running Inquisitors with your Guard, or even as stand alones. Was trolling through GW today and saw this! www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Eisenhorn-2018I'm so excited to buy this model and see how he runs. May have to design a Tempestus based retinue to accompany him

I've been thinking about running some inquisitors along my guardsmen. They seem to be a good way to add some psychic support and boost the Ld values. But I haven't gotten around to building the models I have planned.

I've seen it done for the Ld. bubble and the denies, and popping an Inquisitor with dominate out of a Valk (or our newly cheap Chimeras!) to mind control a knight or opposing tank commander is funny, if tricky to pull off. Greyfax is also a solid choice because of her two denies.

Oh man, I didn't know Dominate was a thing. I haven't played since the middle of 7th edition when I got (reasonably) disheartened with all the cheese. Dominate sounds incredibly useful. Could it be used on a Riptide, mayhaps?
I need more psychic "firepower" in my army, Eisenhorn seems like a great buy

The catches are that you need to be within 18, and they can only make a single attack with one of their guns (or melee weapons) so they need to be within range of something they can damage.

Ooooooooh.
-OT, I have the Eisenhorn model (because he is my favourite character in all of 40K). It's remarkably good quality.

I ordered these models and they are too small for the GW Vostroyan, however they are a well detailed kit.

I have their inquisition bundle and it looks ok, kinda like FW elysian next to GW cadians, slight difference but ok to work with. maybe you can salvage to use the tactical table.

Like very noticeably. Vostroyan troops are chunkier and taller next to them.
The tactical table is useable and a great objective marker.
