I love the way they're going with these, keeping it Grimdark! Hopefully there will be more of an Ecclesiarchy feel to the force.

I might start painting 40K again if these aren't a billion dollars a box.

Hopefully the pricing won't be as stupid as it is now, with the metal sisters.
I would like to see tanks or an air carft next.

Probably at least whatever the GSC prices are, maybe the Chaos Slaanesh/Khorne box is a good indicator of a deal pack we might get. I also wouldn't be shocked if the first wave of troops came as a board game, like Burning of Prospero did. I still think Sisters would be great for a 'tower defence' battle of attrition, I think historically they did early encounters with Tyranids and then Necrons that way.

I remember one early WD where they more or less introduced the Necrons through a battle report. Defence of Sanctuary ...something, the sisters got slaughtered. I read that battle report like a thousands times because it was so good. If they start of with a board game I hope they base it on that battle report.

Sanctuary 101. It would be a great setup. You'd arrange the defensive fortress tiles how you wanted prior to the game, each of the players would divide up the Sisters forces and get some act of faith cards to play in support of each other, then the Necron waves would keep coming (controlled by board logic like in the assassin game) and you'd score by how long you could hold them off.

Adapt Planetstrike.
Oh, I was one of the three-and-a-half people who liked that? Okay. Nvm.

I think you were the only person I ever played that mission set with. AoB called you during the game to see if you had A) taken the Thunderfire cannon and B) if it was dead yet.

These won't be over priced. They'll be priced exactly how equivelent infantry from other armies are priced. Probably $35 or $40 for a box of 10

Agreed. $40 for troops, $45 for mediun/light vehicles, $60 for heavier vehicles. Characters will probably be $25 if they stay on 25mm bases.

If the box has all the special and heavy options and maybe a couple of new ones (probably huge crossbows) then I'd guess they'll be the same price as stormtroopers and grey knights; which is to say expensive. (5 models for £25 is £5 per model..)
Hopefully there'll be a Start Collecting thing where you get 10 sisters and a rhino and basically get the rhino free.
But I wouldn't expect 10 models per box like the Neophyte hybrid kit.

This beauty will be the pre-release that everyone will want to get their hands on. I'm expecting her to cost £20 but we'll see.

It's an interesting looking miniature for sure.. the collar is way to big even for 40k standards. She's also a little cluttered for my taste; 3 big weapons (that plasma pistol looks massive) in addition to all the stuff on the mini itself. And those dangly bits (the censers and the thing on the end of those beads) look far to heavy to be waving around to the right like that.
Not that I'd be able to do a better job making a miniature.. but I much prefer the look of the regular sisters. I suppose one could always go for a more pragmatic convent and stick a cloak on a sister superior.

It's an interesting (that plasma pistol looks massive) Yea... I get that a lot You're right, from the picture it looks bulky for the sister to carry arround. The bead things are incense things that priests carry around and I agree, I think they look annoying and odd. For a canoness I thought they would go more bad ass looking Nun and not an emperor/Priest looking Nun, I hope they make changes.
