Hahaha I love the inspiration, he looks very happy with him self *Pats head* Good fur Model.
That's a great start. Damn those faces look bloody good, the third one down looks crazy good. The wolves look angry, I would not mess with the bionical eye one.

Thanks very much lads!
Nutty, Lol! He’s soppy as anything.
MD, I really appreciate that! My entire aim for this project is to perfect faces.
I’ve finished a couple of Nids so won’t be long before the next update.

Warriors are great looking models, it's a shame you rarely see them on the table.

Thanks mate!
I intend on using a brood of 9, that way I can fit in 3 Venomcannons!
I’ll probably get owned using them but I love the models so they’re in my list.

OK guys, hope everone is well and doing good. Isolation has it's benefits!! I've spent my time (after home schooling!) painting. I said I'd paint something big and I've finished my Tyrannofex. Tyrannofex Tyrannofex Tyrannofex Tyrannofex Tyrannofex This was the largest model for this project! Again probably not the most competitive of choices but it's such a good model!

Cheers nutty, hopefully I can get a lot of painting done.
We’re all off work and hiding at home. Only being able to walk the dog once a day is a bit restrictive but hopefully it’ll keep the elderly safe.
I hope everyone is keeping safe and feeling well. All we can do is make the most of all this free time.

Great job Jud, I really like the darker colors and your work with white on the claws is great!
Got any other special bio-morphs or conversions in the works?

Thanks Borkies!
Sadly all I have atm is 12 Hormagaunts.
I’m hoping to get something soon (though it may be difficult with everyone being on lockdown)

Progress!!! I've finished my first Carnifex. I went with a relatively cheap load out but should pack a bit of punch in the combat and shooting phases. I only have to finish 8 Hormagaunts and all my current Tyranid backlog will be completed! Here's the pics: Tyranid Carnifex Tyranid Carnifex Tyranid Carnifex Tyranid Carnifex Tyranid Carnifex After I finish the last of the Nid models I'll post some pics of the full Swarm!

Really detailed work on the carapace and teeth and everything on the 'Fex.
Got anymore games in against the Marines?

Thanks Chem! Sadly I've not played any games for a little while, I'm hoping to start playing more soon. OK gents, I've finished the last of the Hormagaunts I have so thought it was about time to post up a few pics of how the Swarm is coming along. I currently have about 1200pts, so plenty of scope to add more! Here's the pics: Tyranid Swarm Tyranid Swarm Tyranid Swarm Tyranid Swarm Tyranid Swarm Tyranid Swarm Personally my favourite model is the Tyannofex! He's just such a big chunky lad!! I've ordered another unit of Tyranid Warriors, hopefully they'll arrive soon. Before that though I'll be working on some Wolves!! Thanks for looking.

That's a good looking swarm. It makes me want to see a batrep of the swarms of the IGMB throwing down against each other.
I really like the Tyrannofex too. I used to think the model looked a bit greyhoundy but they've really grown on me through Gladius and the armoured shell you've painted on the side shot looks really on point.

Cheers Emptyhat!
A big massive battle would be amazing wouldn’t it?
I know what you mean on the Tyrannofex it kinda looks spindly until you stick the huge gun on the front!
Really pleased you like them.
I’ve ordered some Warriors hopefully they’ll arrive soon, for now though I’ll be working on my boy’s Space Wolves (I’ve built a Wolflord and a Sergeant for some Intercessors)

Warriors always looked like a fun kit to work with. I remember they used to be in the start collecting box and at the time people slagged them as dead weight (I assume because the rules and meta). But I always found them to be a tempting part of the box. Sadly I had too many other armies and model projects already on the go, and now the SC box seems much less enticing.

thats a great little swarm!
I really enjoy the tyranid models, so very different to the other 40k armies.
The bright white of the scything talons is great, and the rest of the scheme looks spot on too, I need to encourage my lad to the next level of painting now that he has done the 'tabletop standard' level of work (washes and drybrushes), I'll be leading him here for inspiration.

Emptyhat, Yeah, I just love the Warriors, they look great and the kit was easy to build. I feel with the new Psychic Awakening Adaptive Physiology they can do a job. I intend on running a unit of 9! 18 str5 and 3 D3 str8 shots could work I think. Treadiculous, Thanks very much! It's briliant you've got the lad painting! My boy is too young to paint and build atm I want to get him hooked to the game though! With that said, I'd like to introduce Tyr Ironside! (He's the Primaris Wolflord I kit bashed) I wanted to give the impression that he had seen many a conflict, so I gave him a scar and blind eye (trying to make him look menacing) also he had to have the Mohawk hair cut! As with most of my Imperium projects I decided to give him a campaign badge, I went with the Tiwaz Viking rune on a red background. Hopefully it's simple enough for me to replicate it going forward. This bloke is the first of the Space Wolf Primaris I've done so far, all going well I'll be adding more in between painting the First Born Marines. I think a lot of the flavour units are still the older Marine range we so will have a use for them for a long time (though I won't be adding anymore in the future) Here's the pics: Primaris Wolf Lord Primaris Wolf Lord Primaris Wolf Lord Primaris Wolf Lord Primaris Wolf Lord Primaris Wolf Lord Next up will be a pack of Blood Claws.

Really detailed Space Wolf. So, have the Wolves taken over from the Ultramarines in the war against the 'Nids?

Thanks Cheminhaler!
Yeah we’ve gone from Space Romans to Space Vikings!
I got an amazing deal on a Wolves army, most of it still on sprues! So would’ve been rude not to!
This Wolflord was made up from spare parts, but I do intend on adding more Primaris moving forward. (Once I’ve finished my pile of shame!!)
