Will dust off the IG forces.. add a few traitor marines to the mix.. toss in my Fantasy Ogres and hand them all ripper guns.. and see if 7k+ points is enough to scare off the competition.. and if that isn't then I will just have to go and order a baneblade when the wife ain't looking to spice things up...
Cheers Gris

I would like to get some more russes and a couple more basilisks, and a baneblade or the hellhammer if the main gun is plasma based.

The only superheavy tank with plasma-based weaponry is the shadowsword.
Get 2 baneblades. make both (they both come in the same kit).

The Hellhammer has a main gun similar to the Baneblade. But with decreased range and explosion radius. But on the other hand its said to be stronger and especially made for destroying structures and heavily armoured targets. At least its what the description in the German Online Store says.

I'm fantasizing a greater good force about 20 squads Gue'Vesa guardsmen, along with another 12 of fire warriors in D-fish, 3 rapid insertion forces, 5 armored interdiction forces, 6 pathfinder squads, farsight and a 8 suit retinue along with shas'O rymyr and a half dozen ninja El suits will have either burst cannons and missiles or melta and plasmagun 5 squadrons of pirahnas, 3 eldar aspect assault waves, 2 cloud strike squadrons and a ton of guardians, and striking scorpions. And at this scale 4 barracudas will finish the list. This is fantasy after all and would years to collect for me and I doubt ill get one game of appocolypse scale before people lose interest in it and go back to 1500 pointers.

The only Apocalypse boxed set I'm interested in is the Baneblade and perhaps a Regiment Box. But that's it...

I want to make an Elysian heavy drop troop company: ;D 1 HQ squad (maybe adding high command squad..) 1 AT squad with lascanons (being converted) 1 AP squad with autocanons (being converted) 1 mortar squad (to convert) 3 25-men platoons (hey, I have to convert all these lads!!!) under progress 3 heavy mortars (mortars are converted, crews are being converted...) 10 or more sents (already have 6 done, and three awaiting) 4 valkyries (already one at home, waiting for others!!!) 4 vultures (may wait a while!!!) 4 Thunderbolts (may wait a bit too!!) 2 heavy drop ships (I will have to create them...) I have a lot to do especially with my troops I have to convert (helmets, shoulder pads, arm pads) I hope to have finished....hmm well don't know ...maybe in a long time!!!!! ;D Here it is!! If you have ideas for the heavy dropships (I want them to carry 50 troops or 10 sents or 2 heavy mortars batteries and crew) Cheers!

HAHA! The HellHammer is like a Demolisher baneblade. Reduced range and much more power. Though the Normal cannon is awesome

Its a well known fact by now...jeez mabus...keep up with the times! *Obnoxiousness/sarcasm*
LoL.
My army will hopefully be grand, but between art supplies, girls and hanging out with my friendlies...not much money to pass around especially on 40K.

If you can read German I'll supply you with the link Mabus. But to shorten that a bit here is the direct translation of the Baneblade/Hellhammer kit from the German GW shop:
"This super heavy tank of the Imperial Guard is a huge, heavily armed fortress. The main gun of the Baneblade can destroy several sqauds and tanks with just one shot. Its variant the Hellhammer sacrifices range and radius for a more devastating effect on fortifications and tanks and has no problem to destroy troops in cover"
Its a rather free translation of the descriptive text and if it shouldn't be allowed to post something like that please modify my post @the mods

I have scraped together a 3000 point list... Thank goodness Apocolypse is meant to be for pick up games with your friends. I say this because only 40% of my infantry models are not proxies I use mostly mutants and catachans to make up the other 60%
