Does anyone else have as much trouble as I am having building Cadian troopers? I have very big fingers so that doesn't help, trying to hold arms is next to impossible. But not only am I having trouble with that, but when I try to put the arms together I find that a lot of times the arms do not match up(and yes they are the correct matching arms). But I mean when I try and glue the wrist to the hand on the gun the arms do not sit right on the torso, and if I try and glue the arms to the torso first to get the look right, the wrist is WAY off. Does anyone have tips for putting these guys together with huge fingers, or atleast can anyone realate?

Try using ur tweezers , maybe that'll work, instead of using plastic glue, use super glue , it helps sometimes

Tweezers deffo worth a try.
I've had some trouble with flamers and nade launchers, but not really with the lasguns. You could try using the bayonet lasguns, and hold on to the bayonet, it will increase the size a little bit.
Do you glue 1 arm on at a time?
I find gluing everything together at the same time is the best option, as it gives you the oppertunity to move the limbs before the glue sets.
I put a drop of glue on each side of the torso where the arms are to connect., then a drop of glue on the wrist attached to the lasgun. Then put them together, and while the glue is still wet, tweak the possitioning till I'm happy. (actually, I usually apply the glue as stated above, then touch the arms/wrist to it, to get glue on both sides, but this puts glue in all the components, so if you are having trouble with having big hands, I'd avoid doing this).
Worst comes to worst, then use a knife to shave off the shoulder where it is to meet the torso, so that the angle is changed. I had to do this alot when using SM scout arms on a few IG.
Hope it helps.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm going to definately try those suggestions. I do tend to glue one at a time for the reason you told me not to, glue everywhere! Thanks again!

Deffo try doing both arms together. Also, do you glue the torso and legs together first?
Quick order of how I glue my IG together.
1Glue legs to base 2Glue torso to legs.
This I do at the same time, then leave to dry.
3Get the arms I want to use, and check they will fit together. 4Drop of glue both sides of the torso, very small drop on the wrist attached to the gun. 5Holding the sholderpads of the arms, attach to the torso, tweak to the position I want, and match up the wrist of the supporting arm. 6Check all the bonds to check it all looks right. 7Drop of glue to top of the torso, place the head in and adjust to angle you want. 8Add any wargear, packs, nades, etc... to your taste.
Ensure that you are gluing the arms to the right place. The arms should come out of the torso and the pads should be slightly higher. I've seen some people have the tops of the should pads even with the top of the shoulder, so the actual arms are too low.

it's important to use glue that doesn't instantly set too - that would make assembling minis a nightmare!
I use a glue called household goop (available at the home improvement section of local supermarkets or craft stores typically). it's really good, sets quick but not instantly, is rubber based so the glue can be peeled off after it dries leaving the bits as if they'd never been glued before but the glue has a suprisingly strong hold as well. it's really good basic glue to use - if you need to reinforce a joint then a drop of superglue works wonders.

I use poly cement.
I put a dab of glue on each side of the torso and a small dab on the wrist. I put the arms on and hold them in place between my thumb and first finger in my left hand whilst I hold the wrist and gun together with my right hand.

I recommend plasticglue for plastic minis and superglue for metal and resin minis. And no it's not the right thing to use superglue on everything, as it's really expensive. But sometimes it might be useful to use superglue on plastic minis as well (glueing the running Cadian legs on the base, yes the ones that only have a square millimeter you can glue). So use plasticglue when ever possible and try to reduce your usage of superglue. 40K is already expensive enough and you don't need to increase the cost by using the most expensive glue availible for everything

Ant poly cement will do. It melts the plastic slightly and makes the join stronger, so it's less likley to fall apart when you drop it.
