Everyone freaks when they see a Deceiver and a Nightbringer on the board but have no fear the Ratlings are here! Now these gods have toughness 8 that means no strength 4 weapons can harm them! But a sniper hit on 2 and wounds on a 4 plus no matter what! They only get a 4 plus inv save which makes it very hard from them to make! After couple of turns of you blowing him up with some heavy weapons and the snipers while focusing on the rest of army. You can kill this C’tan god with ease! Now you know the secret to kill a god use it wisely show them Necrons what it means to fear the Guard!

Or simply ignore it - Nightbringer moves 6" - not even sure it can run, since it moves like a skimmer, and not an Infantry model. Your normal Necron Warrior squad would appear to skip alongside their big boss!

Just use harlequins, they're rendingness makes them so effective against the nightbringer, I have a full squad in my eldar army and it massacred the nightbring and moved onto a chaplain acompanied by a bike squad (it was a strange battle).
or alternatively, autocannons are pretty good against him.

I'm talking about eldar.
With my guard I just use plasma death in rapid fire range when he becomes a threat.

1). A few Shield-breaker vindicare rounds which ignore invul. saves
2). Dem.cannon him into the ground, take up the ace gunner doctrine if need be

I said "To hell with it" and got 27 Ratling snipers. Half of them died before they could shoot, but the rest put 4 wounds on it, and a Multimelta sponson from a Demolisher finished it off.

or stuff that's allowed in regular 40k games - a Punisher, a conscript mob led by the new Yarrik, ratlings like Reds mentioned (by the way, when you gonna be in town? I got 1200 pts that says I can kick your ass ), krak missiles from massed heavy weapon teams, special weapon team with triple plasma guns in RF range. Sure to take something down! The basic concept to defeating large enemies that have invulnerable saves with puny guardsmen is the very same concept as taking down MEQ's with lasguns - he can't make all his saves, and so the Ap doesn't matter when he's got an invulnerable save, just the strength and number of shots! For example - the Punisher Leman Russ tank has 20 shots, and even though it's just S5, that's a hell of a lot of shots going the enemy's way! Give 'em hell, boys!

Your normal Necron Warrior squad would appear to skip alongside their big boss! Actually, C'Tan can run, they move like normal monstrous creatures (lol... whats normal about monstrous creatures!?). The only skimmer like ability they have is moving over objects and impassable terrain. The rule is called "Immune to Natural Law" I think... But I agree... snipe their ass off... or at least try and pound them with something juicy and heavy... or make those two in a combo and watch Necron player chew on his nails and fingers...
