I'll go with Skaven, too. 1 Warlord 2 Chieftains 1 Unit of Stormvermin 4 Units Clan Rats 4 Units Slaves 1 Unit Giant Rats, 5 packs with Packmasters 10 Jezzails 3 Ratogres with Packmasters 1 Warplightning Canon As Skaven are never plain and simple kill armies it'll be a bit of work with flanking, sacrificing and shooting at my own troops and even if that should fail I should be still able to simply outnumber my opponents Will be a 2k army in the end. Point adjusment will be one by the size the units and attached weapon teams

I may need to point out Knight, You cant have 10 Jezzails, You can take one Jezzail per unit of Clanrats in your army, Same with Rat Orgers, Giant Rats and Slaves

Note quite correct Azalar You may not have more units of them in your army. But I didn't write it correct. You're right there. 1 Unit Jezzails consisting of 10 Jezzails 1 Unit Ratogres consisting of 3 Ratogres with Packmasters

Ahhhh. I understand now, I also misread the Skaven Codex, not a good idea to misread things.

Ok. After some thinking I'm going to get all the stuff for that army. The commander has weaon that is only good vs Dwarves right now, but as I still have 11 free points, it should be easy to replace it with some different weapon if I have to (most players around here play Dwarves)
Warlord Snikzznit the Unfair (178) Dwarf Slayer, Warpstone Armour, Warplock pistol, Shield Chieftain Black Fur the Ugly (91) Desolate Blade, Heavy Armour, Shield
Warlock Technovolt the Maker (135) Warp-blades, Upgraded Warp-Energy Condenser, Supercharged Warp-Power Accumulator, 2 Dispel Scrolls, Warp Token
20 Stormvermin (270) Fangleader, Musician, Standard bearer, Banner of Burning Hatred, Ratling
30 Clan Rats (235) Clawleader, Musician, Standard bearer, Ratling
30 Clan Rats (235) Clawleader, Musician, Standard bearer, Ratling
30 Clan Rats (175) Clawleader, Musician, Standard bearer
30 Slaves (60)
30 Slaves (60)
5 Packs of Giant Rats with Packmasters (150)
10 Jezzails (200)
2 Ratogres with Packmasters (100)
Warp Lightning Cannon (100)
All in all this army is 1989 Points big and when I count all weapons as one model and the crew for each rat, there are 242 rats/slaves in this army.

knight i wonder how well my ogre force would do againest that horde.. i dont get to play againest horde armies in my area since most are chaos, wood elves, or orcs but without goblins.. havent seen more than 100 minitures on a side in a 2000 point game.. so much mounted.. would be interesting to see if i could survive the mass of models you can field..

That could really ugly for me in the end... Your Ogres are faster then my Skaven, they're tougher and they're stronger. My only chance is in shooting you and in close combat only the units Clan Rats with the Chieftain should have a chance and of course the regiment of Stormvermin with tha Banner of Burning Hatred and the Warlord. The rest of my army is pretty useless against Ogres unless I use them to get you in close combat and if I then use the "Life is Cheap" special rule to shoot into CCs. Should be my only real chance. The Warlock is also more or less useless, even if he knows how to use the Warplightning spell you should be able to dispell it most of the time...

yeah I just have to hope to crush whatever comes into contact first round againest me and make them do the panic wave or luck out and get multiple charges off the first one from fleeing units and yeah shooting is the only option at most cases.. but still with the amount of shooting you can do it can be very scary for myself.. i face a lot of empire and wood elf players in my area..

Isn't that much shooting I can do... The Jezzails are good. The Warplock pistolhas ashort range, but counts as magic attack and has a nice strenght. The Warp Lightning Cannon can be a bit random. From S2 to S10 is everything in oh and well the ratlings... In the best case you can score 21 hits (more thn unrealistic) in the worst case just you get a malfunction... And who said taht Skaven painc? Most of my units don't cause panic

no they just don't panic. would have been too nice at the price of the slaves if they'd also cause panic

Just Slaves don't cause my other units to panic if they get destroyed. And Slaves are the units I mainly need to keep you in CC so that I may shoot in the close combats Clan Rats, Stormvermin, Rat Ogres, Giant Rats and all my other units can of course panic. But everything around the Warlord has Ld 10 and the other rats have Ld 8 or 9 as long there are still enough Skaven left and you don't flank them or get in their back...

hee hee ogres flanking.. yeah that rarely happens and if it does then someone messed up huge lol and i see what you mean now.. duh.. where was my brain on that subject.. thing with not panicing though is that yeah they run away.. yeah they dont cause panic... but they just means you are that much more likely to be hit in a follow up charge after i run down the slaves in close combat.. especially if done right.. tyrant plus longstrider = 14in movement.. and 3d6 overrun same with yetties.. can very easily catch up with the rest of your force and possible cause some chain reactions to happen that being said.. the sheer number of rats that I would have to deal with can get overwhelming however and could be the root of my demise.. i think it would be a fun game.. might just have to head up to germany one day on a field trip of warhammer greatness

Their cool to play with but a little boring to paint. I like painting challenges.

Actually I hate Dwarves in any RPG, tabletop or whatever. That's why my Skaven Warlord hates them, too. The little problems between Skaven and Dwarves are of course another reason for that. But for me Dwarves are in any game walking little safes and that's so boring... But I respect everyone who playes them and tries to make them good looking

To be honest. Im not gonna field an Army that fights one army majorly, because it will just make it difficult.
