Hey guys just thought i'd put up my results for my warhammer tournement on the weekend well.... I was using my hordes of chaos with a simple list with warriors, knights, marauders, a giant and a chariot.....
1ST GAME: i played a beasts of chaos army with a few skirmishes, giant, beasts with great weps, and a few chariots the game didnt go so well for me seeing as his hole army could out manuviour me which didnt help my flanks or rears he flanked most of my units with cavelry and wolfs which crumbled my lines to utter nothing the end result was 18-2 his way....
2ND GAME: this time i played agaisnt a Orcs and goblins army which suprisingly was full of savage orcs he also has alot of wolf riders and shamans not to mention 4 bolt throwers so i was strat to get to his lines but i eventualy got there after many bolts and spells it was messy in the ranks but eventualy i got the upper hand of most his units causing them to flee one thing that suprised me was my giant yell and brawled a hole unit of 20 orcs off the table ..... but in the end it became a draw at 10-10
3RD GAME: well this game was acualy agaisnt one of my good mates he has ogres mostly full of bulls. irongutts, a giant , and his lord and shaman.... well what cna i say i outnumberd all his units therefor every single one of his units that i charged fleed on the first combat rez due to my outnumber and flank attacks in the end i lost 1 knight and 2 warriors and i destroyed his hole army ... which ended 20-0 my way haha....
4TH GAME: the 4th game i ended up playing undead which was interesting, he had black knights, a few undead units, a black coach, bats and ghosts, and afew wolfs, not to mention 3 heros and a lord... well i pretty much do what i always do and charge for his lines and i got both my knight units with my lord to his black knights and managed to take them all out accept 1 the battlestandard.... his ghosts held up my giant all game seeing as i cant attack them without magical weapons ... and seeing as u cant use ur nomrla leadership in combat rez due to fear causing units winning combat i needed snake eyes for all my units and i failed all so most of my army disapeared fast and there was nothing i could do accept pray to role snake eyes and he pretty much got the upper hand the hole game ...... it was a 0-20 his way
5TH GAME: well lucky last game (NOT) not lucky at all.... i played a dwarfs army with warriors, thunderers, ALOT of war machines, longbeards, hammerers, and a beefy lord on a shield...... firstly i thought i had it over him by getting first turn to move up towards him and the fact his cannon missed unfortunately his bolt throwers managed to kill my chariot first turn which wasnt what i expected but oh well..... i got most of my units into combat with him but then my luck went from alright to VERY VERY BAD i rolled crappy for every single unit causing hardly any wounds and my giant got to charge the same unit as my knights beside them and my giant also rolled jump up and down which would have led to 2d6 strength 6 hits on the target but NOOO my giant rolled a one after and fell over onto my choson knights with my lord giving them 3 strength 6 hits ... not to mention my giant had 1 wound left and falling over killed it..... not much luck in that area .... most of my units fled due to dwarf items giving the player plus 3 to all his combat so most of my army fled and my armour save rolls were bad for my units taking fire from millions of thunderers so the game didnt quite turn out how it should have he won 20-0
All in all i had fun playing my chaos army for the first time in a major tournement ... all i can say is fantasy is ALOT harder them 40k rules and organisation wise.... 1 little mistake in fantasy can cost u units if not ur army!!....
thanks for reading guys ....
