so what if the weather is bad? Warhammer's an inside hobby! and with the new apocalypse stuff, you'll be inside for a WHILE. I know I will.
Anyone else gonna buy one and turn it into a different ForgeWorld super heavy? Shadowsword anyone?

Well in the box you get the bits to make the Baneblade or the weapon varients to make the Hellhammer. And at something like 250 parts in the box i'm going to have enough trouble making those tanks never mind comverting a shadowsword.

Where you gonna get the giant Plasma cannon from, that would be tricky to convert. You could do it though.

i figure that in a couple of weeks with forge world having lost one of its biggest earners, it will be making mod kits galore to suit every ones needs, if not its no wonder that games workshop is on its financial last legs,

i certainly hope they get their act together with apocalypse.
anyway. I've already converted up a big plasma destructor. It's not amazing, but it suits the need. it's just two pieces of PVC pipe glued together parallel, with wire coiled around it. that and the muzzle. I'll post pictures after the BB comes out.

You know this isnt the first time that forge world has produced a model and then later after huge demand its been main streamed with plastic right? Yes forge world produces amazing models but if the demand is high enough it gets turned into a plastic model and sold main stream. Then baneblade isnt the first and its not going to be the last. Just be grateful that there are enough nut cases out there that were willing to shell out enough money to buy it in resin that we are now able to get it in plastic.
........If any of you get some extra money can you all buy some thunderhawks? or maurader bombers? k thanks.

Just got the october edition of WD in the mail.
It seems the Baneblade has over 250 components, and includes Hellhammer variant parts!

I had the chance to put one of these bad boys together for the local stores display. Wile there are a lot of parts this tank can be put together in under three hours by an experienced modeler. The plastic is high grade (not as high as the gundam models, but higher than most US model kits). The instructions are on par with the typical GW kit. Nothing but pictures that do not always show exactly how things go together. This is NOT a kit for a child to put together by themselves. Someone with experience in modeling should be on hand to help them out (read as do it for them because it is so fun to build).
I have one on pre-order for myself. I will be doing the Fortress of Arrogance for my commissar Yarricka (Yes, Yarrick has gone to Sweden for vacation and come back a woman to fit my army fluff Will post pics soon).
