Command Platoon CHQ (2 Flamers) SO (Powerweapon,Stormbolter,Carapace) Vet (Standard,CCW+LP) Vet (Medic,CCW+LP) Commissar (Plasmapistol,Powerweapon)
AT Team (3 lascannons) AT Team (3 lascannons) SpecWeapons Team (3 Snipers)
8 Stormtroopers (meltagun) 10 Ratlings 1 Enginseer (BoltPistol,powerweapon)
Armoured Fist (Missilelauncher,Grenadelauncher) Vet (Bolter,CCW) Chimera (smokelauncher)
1st Platoon HQ (2 Meltaguns) JO(Boltpistol,CCW) 1 (Autocannon) 2 (Autocannon) 3 (Autocannon) 4 (Autocannon,Flamer) Vet(Boltpistol,CCW)
2nd Platoon HQ (2 Grenadelauncher) JO(Plasmapistol,Powerweapon) 1 (Grenadelauncher) 2 3 4 (Flamer) Vet(Boltpistol,CCW)
3rd Platoon HQ (Heavybolter) JO(Bolter,CCW) 1 (Missilelauncher) 2 (Missilelauncher) 3 (Heavybolter) 4 (Flamer) Vet(Boltpistol,CCW)
4th Platoon HQ (Missilelauncher,2 Plasmaguns) JO(Plasmapistol,Powerweapon) 1 (Plasmagun) 2 (Plasmagun) 3 (Plasmagun) 4 (Flamer) Vet(Boltpistol,CCW)
1 Sentinel (Autocannon,Improvedcomms) Hellhound Hellhound (Smokelaunchers)
Basilisk Basilisk (ArmouredCrewCompartment) Demolisher (HullLascannon,Smoke)
Total:3000pts
I did previously slap this on the IG forum of 40k.ca so this is the revised version. Tell us what you think and be ruthless about it.
To help, heres a quick summary of my plan: Basilisks deploy together on one flank. 1st and 3rd Platoons with the AT teams are the main firing line (CHQ is here to lend support and morale). 4th is on a flank which will swoop in for marine death. 2nd Platoon and the Demolisher is an assault unit. The hellhounds and AF squad (with the Techpriest) will be flankers also (the hellhounds may range about to add some spice). Using the flankers and snipers to isolate single squads (usually be killing or distracting those around them), the 2nd Platoon will charge in and annihilate them (90+ attacks when at full strength). The 4th squads in each platoon are dependable sacrificial units to throw at an enemy assault in order to keep the bulk of the platoon safe.
Cheers!

looks good....except the armored crew compartment on the basilisk....perhaps your could drop it in favor of special weapons or heavy bolters in squads 2+3 in platoon 2......

aye i know. The ACC is complete pants. Its nice when i can only fit one of the basilisks behind terrain, so the other isnt completely vulnerable, but yeah. Really it is rollocks for the points cost. Unfortunately its already been done (and it looks awesome btw). I really wouldnt add stuff to platoon 2 either. Since its just an assault platoon, id get rid of the lasguns too if i could. The weapons that are there are really just to make em seem threatening.
No other complaints then? Anyone else?

er... its nice to know my army is perfectly constructed. where hypercriticism when you need it? anyhow, er. heres a blurry pic of my ACC basilisk for a rough idea. theres a few pics on there (just press next) and also some pics of my armoured walkers (£45+ each! but they're cool (just press back or look around)) groups.msn.com/totalimperialguards/allimperialguards.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=151tell me if the link no worky. ive added stuff to it since then (alot of sanding and filling too) but thats the basic shape. i just hate the normal gun shield, and i only had one set of crew (both my basilisks are old, one has the metal crew in tunics and hats, the other has none) so it had to be done.

lol. aye, the walkers are VDR adeptus mechanicus guys to accompany my soon to be made reaver. ive had em yonks and they're absolutely gorgeous models if i do say so myself. made from a sentinel, leman russ turret, dreadnought arms, vindicator and epic warlord titan armour, land raider bits, etc and quite a bit more. they've had an overhaul since those pictures (they're even half painted now!) and i swapped the crummy assault cannon for a twinlinked autocannon. not that you asked, but heres the rules: AT Walker (147pts) 12-11-10 Walker BS:4 TwinlinkedLascannon,Missilelauncher Smoke,Searchlight AP Walker (153pts) 12-11-10 Walker BS:4 TwinlinkedAutocannon,TwinlinkedHeavybolter Smoke,Searchlight,Camo I may take some better pictures just to show em off some more. since no one seems to be interested in my army list ill ask you, whats cooler, 400pts of sisters of battle or 400pts of Cypher and retinue (with Fallen Angel bikers)? If i add this, my final imperial army will be 5000pts. Which will be a nice number to round it off (3000 IG, 1600 machanicus, 400 ? ? ?). cheers!

nope. he just aint imperial. he can still appear in imperial guard armies though, cos they dont know any different, and he still has "and they shall know no fear" too. in case people dont know, cypher and the other fallen angels are the remains of the DA PDF which was left behind and was subsequently led to revolt by Luther. When the DA's came back from the horus heresy they were destroyed or scatted across time and space as their homeworld (Caliban) ripped itself apart. The DA's now hunt for the 'Fallen Angels' of which Cypher is their unnofficial leader. He has loads of other cool fluff, but i wont go into it here.
just think really haggard and beaten up dark angels with a rebelious twist. so yeah, i was thinking Cypher with veteran bodyguard, a small tac squad possibly with a psyker, and some 'Fallen Angel' bikers (i have cool conversion in mind). being marines, tactically these guys could do anything, but id use them as flankers probably, to harrass the enemy advance. however, im also really liking the look of having a bunch of Sisters around. The models are stupidly good and they'd be a nice bodyguard for some schola progenium guys. the new inquisitor guys are drool worthy and seraphim are just awesome (akimbo boltpistols.. pow pow patung!). id have em in rhinos as a sorta rapid redeployment force to plug gaps and destroy things at close range.
its one or the other folks. which one?

Cypher is cool, but I saw a 10 strong unit of sisters the other day, and it looked so cool.
Ummm, hell, I dunno.
