ok well the thing is i can do 2 more guardsmen but no special weapons, which seems kinda wrong

opps only 109 points to spare i forgot the iron discipline points. woudl you guys say iron discipline is worth it. It only is on my command squads??

its only in command squads and helps but not many situations require it as it only helps if it is under half strength which wont happen if you shield your command squad well enough. if you intend it to get into combat, then sure since it is only 5 points

actually scratch out what i just said, it goes to all your squads so its pretty damn good if you bring the company standard with you as all units within 18 inches benefit from it

i have no idea how the standard works. it gives anyone within 18 inches iron discipline, what about leadership?? and if i give my command platoon the standard and iron discipline is it worth it to give my other squads?? But the issue is also for the standard i lose a plasma gun. now i can give my standard a plasma pistol or can i lose ONE plasma gun.

it lends the leadership to all guard units 18 inches near the officer, a boost from the original 12 inches. they can use the officers leadersihp for morale checks and stuff like that. if the main command squad has company standard, dont bother giving any other command squads iron discipline or standards. just drop the plasma to another command squad, as their effects on the enemy will be the same thing.
