i do agree, who says warahmmer isn't for girls.
I will say that the majority of players are men, but it is geared tword men, it's just a fact that more men then women like the waring and gore of warhmmer. I'm not saying no girls play, but i do think way more men play. But there are those girls out there that do, like your sister.

yes, there is no problem with girls playing warhammer...except when they go and do a hello kitty dreadnought etc etc, but hey its there army! most girls who play 40k either collect eldar, tau, sisters of battle or space marines so i am told.

haha
mmm i agree. NOT nah its cool, its just like i said before when they go do all their weird stuff to it (I call it dark magic) and ruin the bloodiness of the game, I mean its warhammer i suppouse and you can do whatever you want it just kind of ruins the game its like sending in a video game themed diorama into golden demon.

I think it doesn't matter what gender you are. Just as long you don't ruin the game for anyone else

I know several girls who are in the hobby, but my experiences show that girls seem to mostly go for Warhammer Fantasy rather than 40K. This probably has to do with the more 'magical' feel of fantasy vs. the dark, gothic universe. I don't think Warhammer is necessarily directed at boys more than girls, I just think boys seem to be more likely to get drawn into a war-filled universe. Take Star Wars for example, even though it is for everyone there is no doubt that the majority of fans are male. It is the opposite for Harry Potter where the majority of fans are female. But anyway, some of the best painters I know are female. Just look at Victoria Lamb's minis. They are mind-blowing.

*scoops up Boba's brains and puts them back in his head. Also, puts Boba's hat back on his head* I agree with Boba. It isn't directed at anybody in particular, as far as I can tell with 4 years of marketing experience. However, it is more likely indeed for the human male gender to get in touch first.
Theory: The creator's gender is the same as the majority of its fans. Evidence: Star Wars, George Lucas. Harry Potter, J.K Rowling.

Saying girls shouldnt play warhammer is like saying girls shouldnt use computers.. or be coders.. or be server admins.. and if that was the case Sony Europe would be in big trouble since like 80% of its workforce here in Turkey is female.. and in control of all the development, programming, analysis, and management of their key operations.. one of which being my wife.. Besides.. if your going to get beat by a girl at least its with toy soldiers instead of out back by the monkey bars.. not that that has every happened to any of us before Gris

Yes that is one of hers. One of my favorite of her pieces is the one called Fiery Angel where a seraphim is toasting the heck out of a Killa Kan. Brilliant. Anyway, back on topic. I also enjoy Harry Potter but the majority of HP fans are still female. It really just illustrates the point that both sexes can enjoy the same things but usually there will be a majority of one or the other depending on what it is. Hey! 'sexes' is spelt the same both fromt and back! Cool! hehe...

I think that girls shouldn't waste their time playing Warhammer, they should be doing something useful like cooking and cleaning.

I think that it's typically US MEN who end up having to ask if WE can play 40k eventually, about the time we settle down and get married how's that for an answer? anyway, as an answer to 'anyone think warhammer isn't for girls' I'd just say 'that's absurd.' and call it good.
