I've come to understand that this is the place to showoff when it comes to painted models so here is some of my most recent work. Repainted my Farseer as I found he was an ugly sod not worthy to lead my eldar into battle.. And painted my Fire Dragons that had stared at me for 2 months, this means I only have 4 1/2 warp spiders left to paint along with 5 harlequins then everything is painted... aaaah yes! Got an order to commission paint a LOT of dwarfes for 2 weeks so expect some pics rolling in on those starting within a day or two.

Those Eldar are very nice. That farseer looks particularaly cool, I like the lightning effects on his weapon. Looking forward to seeing some dwarves.

Thanks, I have my whole eldar host in the Eldar&Dark Eldar section if anyone is interested. Got my commission painting started today. Began with the artillery pieces and finished one organ gun with crew and one Ballista, still have one ballista and 2x ballista crew to pain. There will be lots of dwarfes for the coming 12 days

awesome dwarves and farseer. the fire dragons didn't do it for me nearly as much. I love your lightning effects, you really pull it off and that's a hard thing to do!

The lightning effects are quite easy to create, I did mine using a basecoat of Necron Abyss (foundation) which is a very dark blue, then Regal Blue (not covering everything to a 100%), after that I outlined the lighting by painting a thicker lightning bolt in Enchanted blue and finaly for the true lightning I used Enchanted Blue mixed with skull white (probably easier to use Ice Blue if you have the colour at home).
Expect more dwarf pics in the evening

All dwarf artillery pieces are now done, and you can also see a WIP on a gyrcopter. The gyrocopter won't be the next thing on my painting schedule however as Im still thinking over how to make the base look good. Tomorrow I will probably start with Berserkers or Doom seekers. // Anatoli

Yeah, that is a nice base, plenty of detail. I must admit though, dwarves aren't my favourite army in WH fantasy.

Your thread makes mine look bad. I shall whack you with a stick now. An electrified stick. With poison. *whacks* Take that.
Good stuff. *grumbles*

All 15 slayers including the 3 Doom seekers are now painted and ready to butcher their way across the lands of Orks & Goblins haha Tomorrow I will paint either one of the 4 dwarf character models or the gyrocopter. But the gyrocopter needs to be primed black and it is so cold outside that the chaos black spray I have acts very weird. The paint covers poorly, won't dry and becomes awfully shiny.. So if the weather is humid I will prime the gyrocopter and paint that, if its cold as hell as it was today I will treat you with a lord or standard bearer @ syphon, lol, start painting & posting more pics then

Standard bearer, as with the rest of the pics I must say the models on picture are brighter here then they are IRL. I dont know why but my camera makes them at least 15% brighter when I use macro mode.

I am a natural painter, I entered the first model I ever painted into golden demon and won a crap load of prizes for it. JK
Nice dwarves, they are growing on me, I like the blue.

Hahaha Well the guy Im painting the dwarfes for has a blue scheme and has given me instructions on how he wants things painted so the colour are not my choice, allthough I think blue is a good colour that works well with mithril silver that many dwarfes have on their armour.
