Some simple coversion metods, we will start with wepons.
1) Chainsword attachment Boxes used Cadian shock troops
method 1) Get a laspistol arm, a chainsword arm, a arm with no hand, your choice of head, torso, legs and any belt items. 2) Put legs on base, torso on legs, belt items, head and laspistol arm onto the torso 3) Cut the chainsword off, remove handle. 4) Get the arm with no hand, cut off the little "bump" on the end of the arm, attach to torso 5) Cut any bit off the chainsword to get it look like it is attached to the arm properly, so get rid of the bit a belive is the power box, it was attached to the handle, glue on to the handless arm and off you go, no nuber two...
Combat engineer Items needed Cadian shcok troop spures Heavy wepon spure with back packs and spade on.
Method 1) Build the legs, torso and head normally 2) Glue on the backpack of your choice, glue a lasgun to this. 3) Get grenade laucher arm, gut off the grenade launcher, leaving a closed fist on touching the chest of the man, glue on, get a open hand arm from the heavy wepon spure and glue a spade to it, glue this to the torso...
To be continued...

Number 3: the scout... Step one: assemble the legs and torso normally (not the "running" legs) Step two: Add a spare sentinel head (the one with the "floppy hat, not the metal head) Step three: add a helmet to the place where you would normally put the belt, add a back pack from the Heavy weapon crew spure (the pack with the spade looks better) Step four: Add a lasgun to the pack. Step five: Add a arm that is open to the left side, ad a binocular to this Step six: Add the grenade launcher arm to this, having first cut off the grenade launcher Step seven: Add a chainsword to the oppisite side of the helmet

the SNIPER: Needed. Kroot long riffle Cadian platoon sprue Heavy Weapon Team legs Method: 1. Glue kneeling legs (can use any but these look best) to a base. 2. Glue torso to legs and add a head. backpack can be added at this point. 3. take 2 lasguns. cut the muzzle from one and the other just infront of the ammo clip. 4. glue the barrel u freed to the muzzle-less lasgun. 5. add a kroot riffle barrel to the top as a sight. 6. add arms and gun. looks V nice when done

Brilliant! Bar the door and rise the drawbirdge to the single room where the giant wifey thumb isn't allowed ... All I get is the corner of a table - hmmm ... I need a shed. And clement weather. Or a heater. And security.

So if im reading it correctly, that long barrel is essentially an extra lasgun? And the site is part of the kroot rifle. Got to be one of the best snipers ive seen so far!

Acolyte, thanks for the ideas for the snipers. They came in quite useful last night, if you also have space marines you can use the scopes that they come with. As a side note I saw this conversion somewhere and had to try it out, this is my master vox operator. Just cut and glue two bi-pods from the heavy weapons sprue and attach comms unit from space marine vehicle accessory sprue. Two snipers I did last night Master vox Operator Leinad

Nice Vox. Trying the sniper converstion myself at the moment. The rifles look really good, just trying to put together 5 kneeling bodys, to use them as ratlings in-game.

Those are some excellent conversions!
I love the look of the Kroot barrel as a sight on the rifle.
Now, where did I leave my scalpel?!

The master vox operator looks good but there is also another combination when you use a dozer blade with a vox accessory from the vehicle sprue! Slightly larger though...

Here is my simple way of making a Sniper gun. 1) Remove the lasgun tip and barrel from the rest of the Lasgun 2) Drill a hole into the stock where you have removed the barrel. 3) Clip off the end of a brass nail, and glue and insert into the stock. 4) Add the tip of the barrel to the nail. I used superglue. 5) Gun Sight: I chopped a pair of binoculars in half, but I also used a sight from the Orc Boyz sprue. Or, fee free to create you own. While the gun looks great, the pose I chose for my models was not. These were intended to be used as a test for the conversion. And here is the squad painted. Bravo Red 409 at the ready! You can also use the nail head as a hilt for a sword as well.
