Right, idea.
I was thinking of using some catachan bodies with cadian arms and legs with heads from westwind. Then stick on some varying backpacks. Anyone know if the catachan bodies are proportionate to the cadian arms? (I want the Flack vest look similar to US Flack vests in 'nam - the cadian ones are just... armour)
Cheers in advance.

I've kit-bashed catachans + cadians. Cadian flak armour and legs with catachan arms, lasguns and massive knives (see my "death before dishonor" story for more info on that front, please comment). I'm starting to have a mix of catachan and cadian heads for that "personalised" look.

Alright, i'll take a look + comment.
So the mixed cadian/catachan guardsmen worked well? Looked natural?

The catachans have really muscular torsos which makes the arms look a bit shrimpy. I've got a stormtrooper converted from a catachan body and cadian arms/head and it looks fine.

I've done what pvtpuffy did and they look great. kinda like veteran cadians. On a few I even used catachan legs and they look great.
