Well get better, we all need your beautiful equipment.
But as a US Army doctor would say: Take some motrin and drink water, you will be fine

What is motrin? Trinking water....not really... I had an imperial guard survival kit( german pattern) like this.... But thanks to all... Greets Watts

As the school nurse always says, "Here is some Gatorade, and some crackers."
No matter the issue, Gatorade and Crackers is the cure... supposedly.
Get well soon you Crazy German!!

I go away for just a moment and look what happens !!! So sorry to hear about your injuries mate. I'll bet you're right handed too?
Maybe your next project should be a powerfist?
Advice from Imperial Navy's Medical Services, Field Medic Division:- i) Eat plenty of protien to rebuild tissues. ii) Keep the injury warm to increase blood supply to the injury to help repair. iii) Don't work the hand until it has fully recovered. Time is the healer now, give it a chance.
The Hydra Flak will be delayed I guess? Do you have any servitors than can carry on with minor tasks?
"Imperial Navy Fleet Regulations" Section F1 "Personel" Chapter J8 "Injuries Sustained in Service" Annex 4.1.9 "Returning Personel to Operations" Para H7
"During the period of recovery personel are entitled an extra Meat and Alcohol ration".

Dude, from experience in the medical field Do exactly as the Doctor tells you. It is no picnic to be out of work that long, but if you screw those tendons up you will be out of work for life.
Then we'd would not get to see the fantastic work you done so far.
What ever you do... Do not try to bend those fingers until it is healed.

Two beers and a twix ahahahahahaa excellent. You'll be fine now You missed the all important remote. Our friend is going to be watching a lot of movies and TV for the next few weeks. At least he is able to roll dice. His hand is perfectly shaped for a bier stein and throwing dice.

Not so much TV.....reading some books of Dan Abnett....today the complete book "double eagle".....445pages in six and a half hour ;D But in break , I get an Idea for a new project..maybe after the finish of the hydra. thinking about an elysian selfdesigned SAW styled heavy bolter, a little bit shorter than a M82 cal.50 sniper rifle, belt feeded with bipod and scope. Ammo is the same like boltpistol or bolter 20mm/cal.0.75( I get a box of 400belt links I can use for that) The elysian heavy bolter is to heavy to use it on the move... I do a first idea sketch with the simple paint program... What do you think about this idea..... Greets Watts

Are the barrels that long?!
|
|
|
Post by ltericwatts on Dec 11, 2009 3:34:57 GMT -5
Yes, because should´nt a precision weapon like the M82, it should be a weapon to get an elysian squad bolter firepower in short range fights(up to 1200mtrs), like city fights, makropoles etc. But I think the barrel should be more massive in diameter.. greets Watts

Might have to commission you in the future to do a few weapons for me.
Thinking a couple las-guns and a bullpup configuration of one as well.
Not to mention would love to see what you can do in making a melta gun

Killing people for real is not cool though I'm absolutely NOT going to get into a discussion about this topic here, but I DO have to say this: I am joining the army within a year and a half as a Cavlary Scout. I AM going to Ranger School and I will pass. And I will have to kill people in my job. Someone's gotta do it, because there are bad men out there (like ELDAR!) That is all. And Watts: get well. Sorry you got wounded, but the Emperor admires your sacrifice

Sir Sir havent we told you never work alone only work when your Orderly is at hand...thats a mean Gandalarian Maneater bite there....
Its good that you have Fleet Medic at hand who could help you...
As for the Elysian Sniper Rifle...is it possible that you do another Elysian Lascarbine and do the Sniper Conversion from (you know the pics with all the Elysian work) for one of your also disabled Orderly and soon Radar Station Operator please... ;-)...
By the way this support heavy rifle looks real cool. Will you do Tactical Rails for yourself or will you try Industrial ones which you could scew onto the Rifle to use these days real Rifle Scopes and so ?...
It maybe critical for transport because of the look but it maybe more practical because you can use more Screw ons Holo Sights and even big Scopes...and you can put the Scopes for transport away....
Hmm...i will look for a good Scope for that babe...no problem Sir your Orderly will take care of the assessories... ;-)
