at my local store, over 4 months we're having a sort of tale of 8 gamers. now, there are two of us doing chaos, not sure what the others are, but the rules for the first week (starts in two tuesdays) are to start with 500 points unpainted, consisting of 1 core and 1 anything else (I believe, could get expensive with a hero as well) so i went for chaos mortals, and bang, straight out of the box, a unit of 5 Chaos Knights of Nurgle with Ensorcled Weapons and a full command, and a unit of 10 Chaos Warriors with Shields and a full command. now, do you think that will work?

Warriors hit really hard and are really hard to kill especially in CC (2+ Armour Save). Knights are even more dangerous. So yes it will work as long you get into CC and too many of your glorious warriors will get shot.

well, they're both at -1 to hit for shooting, and hopefully we wont be starting too far out, I'll have the Knights head for the archers, and have the Warriors there to withstand the charge.

That reminds me that I have to get started with my CoW again as well (damn too many projects at the same time but Fantasy and Ring War have highest priority right now)...
Yeah, Nurgle is pretty cool rulewise. Actually I'm thinking of something with Nurgle too these days. Got a first idea about a Lord/Hero already. Was thinking about some twisted female warrior like Jean D'arc. Especially since I read that many people who turn to Nurgle never lose anything of their beauty or age...
