Why do all the boards in The Imperial Guard section have hierarchies that go IGMB::general::Infantry (for example) instead of IGMB::The Imperial Guard::Infantry? Makes it a little awkward when I'm going through, but mostly it just annoys my OCD self.
I can understand it from an arbitrary organizational principle. But if they were split up as I mentioned, each group would fit nicely on a single screen, which would make browsing the Board simpler. Not a big deal by any means, but if it's an easy change, I really do think it would improve the flow through the boards.

well you answered it in your own post. its goes IGMB:General: Infantry. because the title of the website is 'Imperial Guard Message Board... so it seems fair to have the main section about the guard. And its working fairly well i feel, as most people can find things quite easily, for instance the Chaos section is about Chaos etc...
not meaning to be sarky, so please dont read it with a sarky tone.
Ah, but that misses my main point, which isn't actually organizational, but a graphic design principle (trying to rephrase this because I don't seem to be making sense). If the second level hierarchies each fit nicely on a single screen, the board becomes easier and more comfortable to navigate. The current system involves rather more scrolling than the other would.
I guess it's mostly just because my computer hates scrolling, and often takes 30 seconds or more to realize that I've used the scroll bar. So being able to jump back out to a header that has all the IG boards on one screen would substantially speed up my board reading.

It does all fit on the screen...i just tried it... if you into something, click on general and you get both the general and the imperial guard sections up on the screen together. It takes out the ads and stuff at the top.
