I love midterms. I also love that screeching sound of nails on chalkboard, and the sight of a naked fat lady with psoriasis.

Don't try this at home, kids. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGRd_dccXrQToday I glued my naval advisor. I was going with the astropath, but the navy dude looks much more fun to paint.

Today, my Guard's gaming record was set at 1/0/0!
Apocalypse FTW!

Well, it really isn't just a matter of force. Leverage plays a part, which is why a longer blade is more deadly as a slashing weapon.

Exactly. You don't need to fling your arm as hard as you can. In fact, that can be counter-productive. Piercing swords are more elegant, though.

Today the might of the Imperial Guard crushed its enemies beneath a barrage of ordnance weapons! And a direct hit from a MoO!

Today, I had a crisis of conscience while building an Apoc list.
Then I realized I'm already going to hell, so I could do whatever I wanted. ;D

I prefer tasty to spicy. They are not mutually inclusive (or exclusive)

Today my marines fought tooth and nail with Sharp's Mechanized Airbourne army and after the dust settled it was a draw. My goodness (Yes I have some) what a bloody fight.

Yes the later style of fencing was elegant, but have you ever seen Italian 15th century longsword? It's the most elegant style you can imagine. The first guy in that video is a specialist in two-handed longsword more than he is with single handed weapons. He studied medieval combat texts written by Fiore dei Liberi, this is his main site, but he has loads of videos on you tube as well.: www.fioredeiliberi.org/

The German masters are more direct and mathematical - (Talhoffer& Lichtenauer), but the Italian masters are still just as deadly. I think with the Italian style it's more about speed.
