Hey peoples Hows things?
A few years ago I use to have a small Eldar force But I never played a game with them (Just a collection of cool models) Any-who I'm wanting to start again (for Real) And I was Wanting some tips on what is good (I'm also doing Imperial Guard.. But I'll put that on the side) And I want a unique Colour scheme (If you don't mind sharing lol)
Awesome Cheers!

Well, I say: start a new trend, and use units because they're cool, and not because they're cheesy. Swooping hawks, wraith guard, warp spiders, fire prisms...
As for a paint scheme, there's no such thing as unique. Especially with eldar. Every color and pattern has been done by someone, somewhere. Your best shot at something unique would be a very plain and drab pattern. You could go all-out and try a digital camo...
Edit: Why don't you say what things you have now, and I'll suggest a list.

Yes...Warp Spiders...they look bad on paper, then watch them perform in game. You try to make twenty three plus saves and not say they aren't good.
I agree with Elegaic. A lot of the unused units in Eldar armies are really cool and still very effective on the table, sometimes even more so than the more common Aspect Warriors. Give 'em a try on the tabletop (proxy if you have to) and watch the damage they all do.

Think about it... wraithguard as a troops choice. In a wave serpent. Assisted by swooping hawks and warp spiders. All led by Yriel...

I didn't know you could get Wraithguard as Troops? Always thought they were an Elite choice under the new 'dex.

The current eldar 'dex is from '06, right? It says that units of 10 wraithguard led by a spiritseer can be either elite or troop. So my original idea of 'mech-ing up' is out. And it's a 381 point troop choice before upgrades (other than upgrade to spiritseer). But still...
And if they want to sell those retarded expensive pewter blisters to get people to buy them, they need to have to option of being a troops choice. Otherwise people are just going to take the overdone banshees and the maniacal clowns of doom... maybe there'll be the odd ball who fights the trend and goes w/ scorpions.

I like Scorpions much more than Banshee's. Infiltrating Heavy Assault troops, count me in.
Wasn't aware of the Wraithguard thing. I'll have to snag a peek at my friend's Eldar dex next time I'm there.

See? All the cool eldar units are the ones that people ignore. IF I were to start an eldar army it would be based around getting me swooping hawks in every game. They mostly come out at night... mostly... Wait. Somethingyellow, didn't you buy a super heavy for IG? And you're not going to whole-heartedly commit to IG? If so... can you spare some change?

Ahhh...you're forgetting about Shining Spears. I really like Shining Spears. Really like them...

Yes, but they're a more popular choice.

Really? Whenever I ask an Eldar player about Shining Spears I get laughed at.

Really (back at you )? They're better versions of rough riders that have a real ranged attack as well. It's just that they're pricey. But most eldar stuff is...

Yeah, it's odd. I love 'em though, and would take them along with Swooping Hawks and Spiders as my Fast Attack Choices over Vyper Squadron's anyday.

Really? Whenever I ask an Eldar player about Shining Spears I get laughed at. None of us really use shining spears a lot. I never considered getting them, I never got any. Horrible range, expensive... not a popular choice.

Nicolasakira, you clicked post in the split second it took me to load this thread... And it's about time you showed up here. Although, Somethingyellow, ask not the Nicholasakira a question for it will give you three answers all of which are true, and terrible to know.

The Ulthwe eldar are the pinnacle of 40K emos... paint them like they might cry if they failed a Ld test. To help you further, could you re-type this: "I asked they guys a G-W and I got?"

Wow, dude. You have the gift of painting eldar.
Put a white or black piece of paper behind the mini and use macro. White for darker ones, and black for lighter ones. And most importantly, you need a bit more light to take pictures.

cheers! I'm using my 3.2MP phone-camera LOL (Best I have) I'm testing a new colour scheme, its Black with highlights, Bone weapons and bits And a Dark green Breast Plate. I'll post some pics when I've finished (Tomorow)

Then brace the phone against something to take the picture. And definitely get more light. Make sure the phone camera isn't trying to automatically do anything, and have it set for the proper kind of lighting so the white balance doesn't throw off the colors.
Why a phone needs 3.2 MP, I'll never know...

Those are awesome! For pointy heads anyway ! What's that supposed to mean? Heavying up on the howling banshee aspect I see. Sort of a Biel-tan thing. Any plans on adding anything yet? You've got the skills to a sharp-looking Ulthwe army. Tips on how to make it look good? Use the Ulthwe scheme, avoid bright colours, and use your skills.
