The teacher who runs the school club brought in his warmachine stuff this week. He recons its better than 40k and i'm beginning to agree with him for the following reasons- -No force organisation charts, anyone for an ENTIER ARMY of iron juggernaughts anyone? -Battleforces for £30 -Truely original (giant steam powered robots anyone?) -The background fluff looks brilliant -Regular updates FOR ALL ARMIES!!!! -All army rules included in the main rulebook -There is two games systems, the iron kingdoms and the feral hordes, they both have similar rules but not quite the same in a couple of respects. They deliberately designed it so the iron kingdoms and feral hordes can fight. -They seem ALOT more customer friendly than GW. Whats not to like? ;D Luckilly my birthdays approaching. ;D Anyone here play Warmachine? www.privateerpress.com/WARMACHINE/default.php?x=world

My only problem with Warmachine is the record keeping required for in game purposes, other than that, I happen to like the game and the mini's. What faction are you thinking of starting?

Cygnar for several reasons: -I love their background -I like their army organisational structure -I am regularly drawn to technologically advanced, imperialistic, organised armies -As a guard player, heavy firepower's my thing

Not a bad choice. I went with Cryx because of their look. That fusion of machine and monster is just too cool to not paint.

That should be an interesting group.
Have fun with it. And post pics of your stuff when you're done.
