We all need to win the lottery or have loaded parents.

it's a nice looking tank, but I really like the standard issue GW models (plus, when you use the standard issue options no one calls you cheesy/beardy etc for using exotic stuff, even though the exotic stuff doesn't really pan out to be too impressive most times heh). there's something about the 'GW models only' that kinda turns me off to forgeworld stuff (for guard at least). alot of it is specific to a forgeworld, like the ryza pattern leman russ turret (which I could understand in a catachan army since catachan is located right nextdoor to ryza). Forgeworld stuff really is great though (if you can get around the mass excess flashing on models/parts and commonly poor mould quality pieces they ship). don't get me wrong, I'm totally not trying to knock forgeworld, just saying that for my guard army there's not so much I use from it - for space marines, forgeworld has alot of goodness to offer. I digress though.. the new tank is really sweet looking and has a great death korps feel to it - always nice to see something new on the guard level from them thank you may we have another?

Knight...i think maybe that the macharius could be classed as a heavy tank...which is in between the super heavy's and the normal tanks such as land raiders and lemun russes you made....the Gorgon can also be classified as a heavy tank however not as a super heavy battle tank...its like a whole new range of heavy tanks!

I played a substitute of it with Vulcan mega bolters. it only lasted into turn three but successfully killed over 30 beakies. Thats ten beakies a turn people. (some of these were death company)
Oh, and turtleboy. HOW CAN WE BE CHEESY! WE HAVE INFANTRY ARMOUR SO THIN IT CAN BE PUNCHED THROUGH BY CHILDREN AND SMALL RODENTS!! OUR WEAPONRY IS SO POOR WE CAN'T EVEN COOK OUR DINNERS WITH IT!! WE'RE THE ONLY ARMY WHOSE VETERAN SERGANTS CAN'T TAKE POWERWEAPONS! The imperial guard training manuel, section 3, close combat techniques and tactics, consists of precisely this: Die.
We are many things gentlemen (and ladies). We are ill shaven, sluggish, poorly armed and led by inbred aristocrats who could'nt pass a GCSE. But we will never be cheesy. (darkside: or outnumbered)
