So this is my first attempt at an eldar list, please let me know what you think. Thanks. HQ Eldrad Avatar Troops Pathfinders (8 men) Guardian Defender Sq (11 men) Star-cannon Warlock Spiritseer Conceal Dire Avengers Exarch Blade storm 2 shrunken cat. Wave Serpent Twin Bright Lance Star Engines Sprit Stones Elites Fire Dragons (7 men) Exarch Fire Pike Tank Hunter Wave Serpent Twin Missile Launcher Star Engines Sprit Stones Striking Scorpions (6 men) Exarch Stalker Claw Heavy Support Wraithlord Twin Bright Lance Wraithlord Twin Bright Lance War Walker Sq (3 walkers) 3 Star Cannons 3 Scatter Lasers Total 1998 What do you think of this list? I have still yet to play a game as eldar and I think this is a good start. I plan on using the pathfinders and guardians as my anchor backed up with 2 wraith lords and supported by the farseer. This small team along with the avatar will move slowly up the field while the dragons and avengers use their star engines to move swiftly behind the enemy. The War Walkers will be held in reserve to outflank and hit week armor/supporting troops in the back of the enemy army. Very simple...hopefully solid.

Few points.
Generally if you havent played with an army, I'd suggest a smaller force to start with.
I don't think you have enough troops for a 2k list there. Me eldar playing friends generally agree that they prefer jet bikes and dire avengers than guardian squads, but try it and see.
Drop a couple of fire dragons and add more scorpions, if 4 dragons and an exarch can't drop that tank, 7 wont either, but an extra few guys in hand to hand makes all the difference.
DOuble check ur rules on wraith lords, as u will need special units near them to make them effective, and u dont have enough (cant remember the full rules on that tho, sry).
Usually, eldar dont do the slowly moving upfield tactics very well. speed and manuvreability are ur friends.
The walkers out flanking is a good idea, but i like having some serious shooty units like this on the table fromteh get go, and really max out on their shots.

It is very close to my army list which has done quite well in the few games I have played! Personally, I ditched the Pathfinders and Scorpions for a third Wraithlord and I exchanged the Firedragons and Walker Squad for 10 Wraithguard and a lock! (they count as troops and rock, glee) Also, I wouldn't twin link the Bright Lances. Give your Lord a second weapon so that they can serve two rolls. With Eldrad buffing them with his powers (and using them to block LOS ;p) and the Avatar rolling with the block you have a very scary wall of nasty moving towards the enemy. I also like to keep two troop choices MECH with some tank hunting weapons to snag objectives and give the Lords a little help. The Wraithguard are amazing at holding an objective PS. Takes a lot to get them off of one and they are scoring. Yes, it has its weaknesses and if someone knows what you are playing they can tailor make their list to crush you (Sternguard, ouch) but for an All comers surprise list it does quite nicely!

I would love to have a unit of 10 wraithguard....however my wallet will not support that. But thanks for the response and please keep it coming!
